Love the foosball idea … even though I've pretty much never played a real one lol.
But from the photos it seems a bit pricey for the tiny size, like cable-tie inflated piece count from all the little plate pieces.

    (butchered the original idea: https://ideas.lego.com/challenges/5c659186-fb0b-46ab-8f9f-e6…)

    • +2

Absolutely. I wouldn't even mind paying a bit more for the original idea set not this piece of crap they actually created.

    • +2

Also padding it out with all the diverse parts etc (even vitiligo) when could have just used yellow for all - could have even had fun with it and put a pirate, a space man etc.

  • The size is too small.

40% discount for crappy set. Check out where goalie is.

  • after 40% off its still expensive

  • +9

These discounts are a free market correction playing out in real time. Lego got a bit too greedy with their price hikes last year, which, coupled with the awfulness of these sets means people just aren’t buying.

Just look at reviews for 76215 Black panther, 21337 Table football, and 76210 Hulkbuster.
Possibly the three worst-reviewed sets of the past 5 years.

Such a great idea ruined. This would have been a great set at $4XX range if it is at least twice its current size.

  • Double lego points at the moment, not that it means much if you're not buying regularly from the store.

  • Lego released plenty of expensive sets there years. First thing first, I must buy the1000 square meter house priority..

    HoDL
teach them a lesson for treating their customers like crap.
I havent bought a set for myself since end of last year.

    • What do you mean exactly? The customer service or just the price hike?

      • +1

Price hike being first and foremost. It goes beyond the 'inflation' excuse.
I did an interesting calculation on a motorised lighthouse deal if you want to check my history out. honestly its ridiculous how much they jacked up the price and shrinkflated their product.

        • They shrunk the A Frame cabin too, I wish they left the trees like the original. If they have to raise prices because profits are dropping - that's one thing.

But you can't tell me that the last few years haven't been INSANELY profitable for Lego.

        • Not sure if you've noticed, but the pieces seem to have gone down in quality. One of my recent pieces have really obvious casting marks which didn't use to happen.

Also the plastic really feels different.

Good Price for Football table as you get 2000 VIP point plus Lego City Ambulance Rescue set.

Woah price is joking, can almost buy a decent real table with this price

    • local salvage 2nd hand store had an official world cup one for cheaper in dec, was considering buying for office for xmas/

    • if comparison to real life is a problem, never look at lego flowers then…

    • can almost buy a decent real table with this price

      Yes, please do.

  • +2

This would be awful to play on. I don't see the point.

The original idea was much better too, but prob still sucked to play on.

  • Can’t wait for them to release a Lego toilet paper!

  • Yes, Atari! Thanks OP.

  • Thanks op got one
