  • There is little enthusiasm around this kit or its parts separately across OzB over years. Just pointing out.

    • As the show is over , Time to replace dahua and HKvision .

  • Just be careful D-Link is ending the mydlink Home and mydlink Baby Monitor Apps and Cloud Services for lots of old products. Not sure how long this could take.

    • My indoor camera stopped working after about 2 years of use. It was a perfectly fine 1080p camera. They want me to fork out $100s for their new system with no guarantee on when they will end support for them too. I'd steer clear of D-Link.

    • I almost bought. Any alternative recommendation?

Checked with D-Link again, DCS-8331KT and all current models are not affected. Only few models that have been discontinued more than 10 years ago have supported ceased and D-Link said they have compensation for those discontinued products to continue receive support. But I am not sure how it works. Anyway, getting two now. Cheap.
