The 256gb is better value at around $52 per GB… but you’re right damn cheapest price for 128gb

    • Shall I add the 256 gb on title too?

      • Just note it in the description, it’s not on sale but still good to know.

        • +1

I added on title. Thanks for spotting that. I like to give people options.

      You mean $0.20 per GB?

The 128GB card is $0.21 per GB.

I have taken to buying smaller cards to spread the risk of data loss and don't shoot a lot of video so 128GB cards like this are a good option. Cheers OP.

      • That's a sensible approach, but 256GB cards can technically be better optimised to get better performance.

One thing these card makers don't tell you is that same series, different sizes have different speed. 128GB cards generally are okay. 64GB and below can be dirt cheap sometimes for that reason.

The 256GB was $36 at Bing Lee last week as I price matched at JB Hi-Fi

Yes I know, I posted that deal when it was available. The 256GB that I have posted here today it's with a reader. Also the 128 GB it's the all time low according to camelx3.

Cheers, didn't see the deal last week, would have saved me some research time lol. Was just adding for reference more than anything for comparison of $/GB but I see my comment doesn't come across as trying to be informative…

  • How do these go in dash cams compared to the endurance ones

  • Since i got a 256GB phone 4 years ago and own no seperate camera. I have forgotten what these are.

    • I find them very convenient to use. I usually transfer photos from my mobile to my laptop.

      • Would be cheaper to just buy USB drives or cloud storage

  • So this and a good USB adaptor would make a fast usb3 flash drive yeah?

  • Is this overkill to expand phone storage? If so, which type of card is recommended?

    • Have a look at how much storage space you have used up and decide for yourself.

I am a "power user" and am regularly clearing up my storage so I don't hit my 256GB limit. Personally, I wish my phone had an SD slot.

      • Should've been clearer. My question was more to do with the grade? of card. Not sure if that's the correct term.

  • Can i use this on the Nintendo switch?

  • For Nintendo- Is this better than Evo which is cheaper. Thanks

    Thanks OP

  • This.
    Or the Sandisk Extreme Pro?
Price is very similar, for GoPro and Nintendo Switch.

    • +1

The Samsung has faster write and the Sandisk faster read I believe; for the GoPro I’d say Samsung is better since you’ll be writing large video files whereas the Switch the faster read I’d imagine be more beneficial for loading.

  • Haaha
    Great. One of each then.

    Nice one OP, cheers
