It would be nice to include the link to Google Play:

  • Looks like the same deal they had on the ios app a couple of weeks ago. Good stuff.

  • I tried using the Dominos App last night on my Samsung Galaxy SII, and I went through to the "How will you be paying" screen and it didn't show anything. So I gave up, and called the store directly.

Make the damn app able to be transferred to the SD card. Until then, it's deleted and is staying that way.

    • It's only 1.5MB

      • -2

True, but it still takes up valuable memory particularly in the lower-end android phones, and there are other more valuable applications such as Hotmail that are more useful than a pizza-ordering app. If they made it so that it could go on the SD card I'd download it right now, but until then there's no good reason to clog my internal memory with it.

Why don't you eat a few less pizzas and put the money towards getting a phone made this decade?

        • +1

Yeah, because CLEARLY I lack the money for a 'good' phone because I eat too many pizzas. Good one chief, great logic there.

My phone is the LG from the Coles fly-bys promotion, and I'm pretty happy to pay $50 for a good phone rather than $500 for a phone that does very slightly more.

Regardless I fail to see how it's such a bad thing for me to suggest that they should make the app transferable to the SD card - there are many people out there who have phones that lack a large internal memory, so here I sit eith little room left in internal memory and about 14GB free in the SD card.

      • With respect, it's incredibly painful trying to decide what apps to install if you've got a low capacity phone.

My old Desire, every time I wanted to install a new app I'd need to uninstall another. And we're not talking about some old game that I played once and forgot about it — I got to the stage where every single application on my phone served a critical need and was used at least once a week, and this is after moving as many applications as I could to the SD card.

It became "You can read your work email, or you can uninstall this app you use daily — you can't do both".

It's extremely frustrating when a developer decides not to allow move to SD rights. It's like a three line code change to allow users to move apps, and it makes life hell for those who need it if the developer don't turn it on. But they don't. I don't understand their logic.

So yes, it's only 1.5MB — but it's often the choice between this application and some other critical one.

All this said, as Capital Obvious said, this is an application which wouldn't fit into the "critical apps" bucket on my phone — but next time you think it's 'only 1.5MB', you try deciding between your two favourite apps on your phone when a developer decides not to make a 3 line code change for no particular reason.

[but I got a Nexus a fortnight a go, so this is no longer an issue for me, thank god]

        • I got rid of my HTC desire a few weeks ago, I know exactly how it is to not be able to install apps and always having to reinstall apps. Main reason I got rid of it, was because of the limited storage, I regret not getting rid of it sooner.

  • Thanks OP, already had this installed and works great.

  • Dirt cheap. Great deal.

  • Thanks, nice app, but please do a special for traditional pizzas, otherwise I will still prefer to use the mobile site and voucher codes, being a hardcore OzB'er
