Costco Electronics Return

Hi All,

We purchased a VTech Kidizoom Studio camera for one of my kids just over 1 yr ago that is now playing up - we got it from Costco and just wondering what they are like for returns/repairs for items? I would assume this came with a 1yr warranty as per most electronics, but didnt know if they went over and above normally…….thanks

  • Id say they will just refund you given the small amount. They may not have it in stock anymore either. They tend not to bother repairing unless the manufacturer insists.

  • Costco has always been fantastic for returns - they have always refunded everything we've returned, no questions asked and most outside of any warranty period. But it's always a refund and if they happen to have it in stock, you can go and buy the replacement.

  • +1

And don't worry if you don't have your receipt - all purchases are recorded against your membership card.

  • My son's also did this. Emailed Vtech and they said SOL…

I took the batteries out for about of week and let it completely power drain. Work fine after that.

  • Warranty is not limited to 1 year, take is back to Costco. They may refund or replace.
