        Face masks have expiry dates as the components may age over time. The masks may offer less protection when expired. The straps and nose pieces may degrade and the masks would not fit well.
        I've thrown out surgical masks from the Health Dept that were about 7 - 8 years old as the elastic bands were loose and no longer fitted well.

      Have you got a source for that? These are KN95 which is the same as the P2. KN95 is the USA testing requirement whereas P2 is the European testing requirement.

        It's a placebo to help people's anxiety. So it will work if you believe it works.. in alleviating anxiety, not protecting against COVID infection.
