      I would say so. There is a Yeelight addon here. They do have to be setup in advance using the Yeelight app.

    Yes, works locally with Home Assistant. I've used the colour ones for years and they work really well with immediate respone. As Borg said you need the Yeelight app for setup and to enable the local API but as long as you don't change wifi SID/pass, that's a one-off operation.

      The reason i noted "I'd say so" is that I couldn't be 100% certain as I don't own this exact bulb and only the RGB ones which work well via LAN in HA.
      The model here i.e. YLDP007 is not specified on the Yeelight HA Plugin but reckon it would be fine.

      The CRI is high, (not really, 80 is average), so the colours of objects that are illuminated by the light will appear more vibrant than from a light with a lower CRI.
