expired Lavazza A Modo Mio Extra Coffee Machine (Nespresso Alternative) at Myer ($299 -> $149 Save ~50%)
This was posted 9 months 26 days ago, and might be an out-dated deal
I had a taste at Myer George St in Sydney, and it tastes fine. I've seen it during electronics sales at 15-20% off, but not 50% yet, so it seems like an awesome deal if you're looking for a Nespresso alternative but don't want to go Aldi or a "brandless" one or don't want to import from overseas. This one has full Aussie warranty, and you can just rock up to Myet and get it as it's in their current catalog starting 20 July. Capsule prices cost similar to Nespresso capsules but each capsule has a few grams more coffee, so you get more coffee for the buck.

+7 votesI bought one of these from their outlet in melbourne yesterday - a 'repack' for $99.
Repack is a machine that has a damaged carton or may be used for display purposes.
Mine is brand spanking new.
Yay, bought one on the Saturday at 20% off. Not happy Janm - burnt $80 odd dollars and no one there warned me about the sale. Back to the machine, if you need a short black coffee without the biterness of a Nespresso then you can't go wrong. Nice little unit for work that does the trick.
Home I have a real coffee machine, grinder, roaster.

Just an update, Myers came to the party saying yes it was unfair and refunded me the difference so yay.. it has now cost me only $149. There are some advantages from buying local.

The Lavazza option is better. 1. Lavazza coffee taste better 2. The extraction is better because the Lavazza captual is firm packed so the water can not find a quick way past the grind.Saying this people, a Sunbeam 6910 with it's own grinder will destroy anything any pod machine could ever do, flavour wise.
