      Lol. "yet". Only needs to damage a device, or short out once for the $20 saving not to be worth it.

      That's not factoring in its most likely to simply just die early and waste your time/money.

        Go to chargers especially when travelling. Charging everything very fast. So far so good. I think I have an OK ones.

    Full size Heymix chargers feels much better in quality and built, but I’ve never opened up any, just my gut feel.

    Honestly wish we had a site wide ban on heymix. I implore anyone that still uses these to look beyond the “bargain”.

    They have ridiculously high failure rates, just because your device has been working fine doesn’t change that an unacceptable number of users have had their chargers blow up AND in cases damaged devices with them. It can also just be a matter of time until you get unlucky, and the few dollars you saved isn’t going to be worth your phone or other electronics.

    Failure rates in modern chargers are usually impressively low, primarily due to the number of safety measures to ensure your devices are safe should it happen, which is why when you buy a modern charger… safety is usually not even on the list of concerns, because realistically we should be so beyond that but HEYMIX has shown routinely in nearly all their products that they cut corners and skip a lot of these.

    There are lots of brands that are affordable and still are good quality. You’re not buying these everyday and a good charger can last years/decades. Zyron and Baseus come to mind, but there are plenty of others.

    I’ve seen so many cases personally of peoples electronics being destroyed, and no one has ever told me it was worth their data/device/time.

    EDIT: The zyron powerstone has very similar specs and is around the same price for anyone looking for an alternative on amazon.
