  • Still trying to decide if I should get this. A few repeats from previous bundles or giveaways. I guess it's nice to have Steam keys.

    • Re-emphasising here to make sure you do actually get to claim the steam keys immediately

lest you be held in limbo for years while they look to manually requisition codes

      • Could you elaborate a bit on your 2nd paragraph? Do you mean if you don't redeem everything immediately, then the keys will eventually expire or something?

        • Humble has been known to run out of keys before, so if you don't claim the key (not necessarily redeem it), you might be stuck waiting for the keys to be replenished. at least that's what I think it means.

    • Same here, and another one free on Epic today. Mostly interested in Dreamscaper, though Hellblade looks interesting, so might make the purchase worth it.

  • Hellblade was great, suprisingly awesome graphics for such a small studio when it released.

The fighting mechanics were actually more complicated than they appear at the surface, you had to find the combos organically as it wasn't explained.

Also there is still a point in the game were you can get a massive save destroying bug, a part were you pickup a torch to get thru the darkness, but if you fail to pickup the torch it still autosaves without it and you can't survive.

I have had a copy of my save at that point downloaded weekly for years via Steam forums.

    • So you're not able to finish the game because of the bug?

      • +1

If you don't grab the torch, it autosaves in a spot you can't finish the game on that save.

It's right in the middle of the game.

  • Last purchase I made on Humble Bundle was in 2015!

But now I have a Steam Deck.

    Where has the time gone…

Humble used to be good back then…
Honestly fanatical has much better deals and bundles

Yeah they got bought out by IGN I believe.

Humble Bundle still on archaic procedures for over a decade

    • Time still existed… just a lot of it has passed.

    Ill take a fiddy

  • Great bundle. But only missing syberia from my collection

IMO Control is worth this much on its own, though you can buy it for more like $15 usually. If anyone hasn't played it yet I'd recommend it and considering the rest of the bundle a bonus. I hear Hellblade is good too.

  • Uurgh, I was after heroin.

What happened to the 1 game for $1 bundle tiers

    WARNING about Control Ultimate Edition.

If you have the previous butchered standard version (From Humble Choice), it is strongly recommended that you remove the previous license of Control from steam before activating this new version, otherwise you will be stuck with the old standard+dlcs edition that did not receive any updates.

I thought control was boring and shooting mechanics terrible (on console), dont get the hype

  • I enjoyed Hellblade (story driven game with minor combat and puzzles) and Dreamscaper (Hades-esque roguelite with not quite the same level of polish).

I also played and finished Control and enjoyed the combat but personally found the story to be nonsense. Seems like good value for $22.
