I recently bought a 12v/24v fridge on eBay from a seller that had non-descript name. I received the fridge and noted on the address label that the sender was BCF.
Why would this be?
Thanks

hmmm …. and yet the seller sold the item for 25% less than the BCF sale price. Item is brand new/unopened etc.
Stolen credit card maybe?
staff discount/ stock off the back of the truck ?
Is the ebay one still cheaper even after BCF club price?
I wonder if this happened:
You —pay—> Fraudster —uses—> Stolen gift cards/credit card —pays—> BCF —ships—> you

This happened to me with a cubby house I bought a few years back. Bought from Ebay at significantly cheaper price than direct from company. Item arrived and nothing happened until a few months later when I received a letter from the company chasing me for money saying I hadn't paid for it. I showed them the eBay transaction and PayPal receipt and they chased it up with eBay.
I'm glad paid with a Mastercard through Paypal (to be sure to be sure) …. just in case ;)
Your address is known to BCF in case something goes wrong.
Keep receipts and plenty of screenshots if the police came knocking.
Just checked, the seller is sold out of the fridges but is selling a few other items (multiples avail of each) of products you could find at BCF.
No wonder shares in parent of bcf heading north whilst others go south
i had the same with dishwashing tablets, ordered on random seller on ebay about 15bucks than anywhere else, they got delivered by catch, then i checked catch and they were 30 more than what i paid
