The story begins seven years before the events of FINAL FANTASY VII (1997) and follows Zack Fair, a young and ambitious Shinra SOLDIER operative. Zack is tasked with tracking down a missing SOLDIER 1st Class operative named Genesis Rhapsodos.
But as his adventure unfolds, he discovers the dark secrets of Shinra’s experiments and the monsters they create. The game features a number of characters from the FINAL FANTASY VII franchise such as Cloud, Sephiroth, Aerith and others.

  so tempted to get crisis core. I but know that in 6 months it will sit on a pile of shame and it would probably drop in price by then.

    I know that feeling. Gamepass has spoiled me. These days I only buy a game if I intend on playing it asap.

    Just wait until its cheaper or get it on the used market.

    It's a okay game, and this is coming from a FF7 hardcore fan.

    Better games to put your time and effort to.

      CC is my favourite FF game imo, most likely because of when I played it. It's not the BEST game, but it is my favourite — it's got a lot of heart. The fact that Zack is the protagonist but isn't really the 'main character' of the story, together with its insurmountable tragedy gets me every time.
