Suggested Replacement for Poco X3 NFC

Hi all,

After some suggestions for a replacement for my Poco X3 NFC. There's actually nothing wrong with my current phone (running LineageOS 20 like a champ) but my partner needs a replacement phone so she will get the NFC and I'll upgrade.

My main needs from a new phone are:

  • Good camera
  • 5G support (using Aldi mobile / Telstra)
  • Good aftermarket rom support

Nice to have are:

  • 3.5mm headphone jack
  • Good screen for daylight viewing
  • Prefer local warranty if possible

Budget ideally is around $400, but can stretch a little more if needed

Have started looking at things like the Poco X5 (ticks all the boxes other than the camera I think), but keen for your suggestions.

Thanks

pixel 6a was under $500 during past festive sale.

it lacks 3.5mm jack, but you get a top notch camera and local warranty.

    • Good point. 6A would probably meet most of my needs, probably the only area that would be a slight downgrade would be the battery life I guess

      • the battery is like 4400mah

        • Yes, so smaller than my current Poco, and smaller than most of the newer Poco phones

@mr626: the pixels would probably last longer in usage though.

            • @frondono: depends….he is a custom rom user if you mean updates….in terms of reliability both pocos and pixels have had hardware failures posted on the net…..so….?!?

  • Following I've got the x3 pro and was having the finger print/power button play up a few weeks ago doing a bootloop. Was thinking I'd need a replacement straight away but that hasn't been the case yet.

    • mmm, is it an indian model? custom rom? kernal version?
