130

Hi all, first post on here so please be gentle =). I've been in the market for a gaming PC since the start of the year and I finally pulled the trigger on this one. Currently 50% off RRP of $2,999. I like that this PC includes WiFi 6 connectivity, Windows 11 Home and a wired keyboard and mouse as well.

Please note that a Google search of this PC model number will show that this exact PC is available to purchase at a few other Australian retailers. So if you wish to do so you can fancy your chances of getting a price beat/match or use up any gift cards at those other retailers which you may have if available.

Tbh every prebuilt PC companies prevalent on Oz has issues right now. Techfast with their usual delay + service quality problem and BPC Tech as well recently (while before BPC is a lot better for a little more expensive). Only the enigma PC who just join the game seems to be okay right now, but they don't share the same customer volume for we can judge.

i have an old Legion Tower, it's not worth it. Almost impossible to upgrade.

Shame i paid like 1600 back in 2018 summer for a GTX 1060 setup.

Btw that RRP is bullshit, highly inflated.

  • This build is bizarre, the motherboard has no display outputs (not even D-SUB or VGA!), but it has a 5700G APU with integrated graphics.

Watching the video — the parts do seem quite standard and "off the shelf" so it should be fairly straightforward to upgrade all of its components.

    • It is a shame but I kind of get why an OEM wouldn't put mobo video ports.

If you are after a brand name build, then yes.

If you are able to accept no brand (but all the parts inside are branded), then look for the BPCTech or Techfast. You will get similar spec at further 30% off

If you have a day or so to learn the parts, you can put one together and get another 2-5% on top of that 30%, pick the stuff you want, take pride in building it yourself.
