    Tbh I have not done as much research on air purifiers as I should. Something that interested me was the set and forget nature of this one, since it seems to monitor the quality and turn on and off as required.

      i think they all have some sort of auto mode where fans ramp up when needed.

  why would you need one in most part of Australia?
  According to my car, even on major HWYs, the pollution is minimal.

    I see it more as one of those marginal gains quality of life items. However, it probably makes a real impact in home where they cook with, or use, gas extensively.
