I'm buying a puppy next week and while searching the net for useful info I discovered these free useful and quiet lengthy ebooks in PDF file type.

  2. After You Get Your Puppy

As quoted, "Both books may be customised with your own business name and contact information and be used fo educational promotion." The website encourages you to send these ebooks on to people.

The website also appears to have other useful free doggy guides and training information (although I'm no expert).

    Wow! Thanks for this link. We have rescued a 9 month old puppy from the pound and he has destroyed nearly everything on our front porch. Now to find the time to read and re-train him using this book.

        Agreed. With so many dogs in pounds/shelters it should be the first destination for all prospective dog owners.

          The sweetest, nicest dog I ever had was from the RSPCA. He poked his paws through the cage to touch us. That dog couldn't wait to jump into the car to join its new family. Maybe some dogs know they're being rescued.
