  • Hmm… I was hoping for one for the blow up paddle boards, but the paddle board has a chunky socket like an air bed…
Does anyone know a way to adapt this to it?

  • also want to know if it can inflate air mattress for camping needs.

    • With the right attachment it would and a little bit of time. It's not fast.

      • +1

"Little bit of time" would be a massive understatement, it would literally take hours and you'd most likely need to recharge the pump's battery inbetween. This is not a high flow pump, it's simply not designed for inflating large objects like air mattresses/exercise balls/canoes/paddle boards.

Source: I inflated an exercise ball with this, it took over half an hour.

  • This is a must have if you have a Xiaomi scooter

    • if you have this, do you still need the adaptor to inflate the front tyre?

  • Also curious if we could just buy the following below from ebay and bang…. Camping beds sorted

I've got the old version of this. Great for inflating things that require high pressure and low volume not great for high volume stuff like paddle boards

    • thanks

    • New version is supposedly much better. Claims to be able to do a car tyre from flat in 11 minutes.

I seem to have lost mine, and by coincidence bought the 1S today (for the high price of $66). So will be interesting to see how much it's improved.

  • serious question, is this pump reliable enough to do car tyres? significant pump time I presume?

    • +4

It's a ripper. I got it to inflate my caravans tyres so I didn't have to take it to the servo. For a top off it does two tyres easily. Kids bikes are good to go too

    • +3

I topped up all 4 tyres and a spare on my Honda Jazz from about 20 psi to about 38 psi before battery ran out

      • That's good. It sounds like the device is perfect for pump the tyres pressure monthly. Thanks

    • The battery capacity is small. For car tyres, I'm using the Ryobi inflator https://www.ryobi.com.au/products/details/18v-one-inflator-d…

    • It's a good mini pump, will work for all tyres up to cars. I've been using mine for the last year but for some reason it's now not working. It pumps air but then for some reason it cuts out. Possibly the batteries need replacing, which is not an straight forward job. So yeah I'm reluctant to recommend it 100%.

    • Mine died after a few months, lost my receipt so too bad. Lasted only about 4 months, used primarily for motorcycle tyres and bicycle tyres.

  • Can someone who has used previously to comment regarding pump car tyres? Such as I do monthly car tyres pump in the petrol station for 3 to 4 psi. Will this one be suitable? Thanks

    • +1

This will handle it no issues. I have a slow leak in one of my tyres (loses about 3/4 psi a week) and top it up along with all my other tyres and never had an issue.

So much easier than having to stop off at the servo plus can get the correct pressure as can do it whilst the tyres are cold.

    • +1

Awesome for it, don't go to servos anymore. As long as you can wait 5-10 minutes for it to all happen it's fine. Usually takes about 2 minutes to do from 35psi to 40psi.
I'm one of those nerds who adjusts tyre pressures before I go on certain drives, if I want comfort in the city I'll have it lower, if I'm going on a sportier drive I'll put it up. Saves me so much trouble.

Such as I do monthly car tyres pump in the petrol station for 3 to 4 psi. Will this one be suitable

Yes, topping up is exactly what these portable battery-powered air pumps are designed for (and indeed, capable of).

For the other people who always ask: these are NOT designed for inflating large objects like air mattresses/paddle boards/canoes etc, you need a high-flow pump for those — they are typically mains or 12V plug powered, and much bigger and more powerful.

If you have a completely flat tyre for example, it would take ages to inflate using a battery-powered portable pump.

This is $80 without a battery, but if you have a PXC battery and charger already then I think it's an absolute must-have.

    Isn’t this the normal price?

    • +1

      Yes to both

  • Would you think to get it from Amazon AU is better?

    • Cheaper?

      • It's $66 but I worry about the warranty on eBay.

        • By coincidence I bought it today from Amazon before I saw this. 2 day delivery is worth the extra $5.

  • This here looks to be a better deal @ $48.59 delivered (25L/min air pressure flow).

    • +1

I've been using that one for 11 months and it's still going strong. Despite Musky saying it wouldn't lol /neverforget.

Plus it comes with a few extra attachments.

    • +1

I bought a similar one (same button design) off ebay for $51 used it 3 times. Left it in garage for a month and then wouldnt work or charge. So be aware that ebay = was able to get a refund but other stores maybe not

  • I had this but sold it off. Kept unscrewing my presta core off on my bikes.

I now use ozito inflators which I now absolutely love.

    https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-pxc-18v-cordless-inflator-…

I have the bigger one. Solid and reliable.

    • What presta attachments did you get for ozito?

  • ShopBack currently has 10% cashback for eBay vehicle accessories which this falls into. Not sure how long it’ll last but it’s still active. So with eBay plus the price goes down to about $54

  • Will this do push bikes?
