  I just signed up to get a Chicago Public Library ecard, which just needs a chicago address entered online (I just made one up) and no need to physically enter a library. Now I can borrow ebooks from their collection and as they are in the US I can even get them sent to my kindle, which you can't do with australian Libraries. Does anyone know of any other libraries you can sign up for free for without showing proof of residency?

  Not sure if this is worth it's own post or not as technically you are supposed to be a resident to get an ecard so thought I'd ask here :)
