    Is it just me or it could be attempt to get these details for selling to dodgy sites/companies? I am uncertain if Samsung would go on to publish form on jotform site. Why wouldn't they do it on their own site?

      I don't have answers to your questions, however I have received Buds from a Samsung Members competition with an Jotform entry page previously.

      It's legit but they never notify you and one day months later you receive your buds.

    For anyone who had issues with the trade-in, just got this in the support chat. No idea if this is just some bs to get me off the chat or accurate info.

      It should be legit, as the link was in the email from Samsung Loyalty, but nobody seems to get anything yet (I haven't got anything either, submitted my request on the next day this was initially posted)

    I just emailed Samsung Loyalty team about this promotion.

    I explain to the Smasung representative that there is no confirmation nor follow up email after submitting the form. It makes me wonder whether I have submitted the form properly.

    Here is their respond:

    Hope you're doing well.

    Normally we don't have email confirmation for the galaxy buds promotion however you will receive the buds 2 weeks after you receive your order.

    • It's been nearly 3 weeks since my S23 was delivered and still no sign of buds 2.

      I wouldn't put much stock in that answer. The T&Cs say:

      Eligible Claimants should allow at least sixty (90) days for delivery of the Gift from the date they receive
      notification from Samsung that their Eligible Claim is being processed. Samsung will use all reasonable
      endeavours to deliver the Gift within sixty (90) days from the date notification is received, however this
      may be subject to delay in some circumstances.

      Sixty (90) is clear as mud but here on 8/5 they say they are still validating claims.

      The T&Cs do also give the email address for Promotional Support as [email protected]. I expect you'd probably get a more helpful answer from them than from emailing the loyalty team.

    Good news here, I got a email advising I will be getting the buds2 as part of the promo. Looks like they are starting to process them. I received my S23 on 24 April.

    Just emailed Samsung regarding my buds2, they said they've send out all confirmation emails yesterday, I would suggest email Samsung if you haven't recieved your confirmation email.

      I got the same response but I pushed back.

      I forwarded them the email I recieved from the lotyalty team on the 24th of April (same say day I purchased a phone and filled out the jotform) stating I would recieve a pair of buds if I made a purchase and that there T&C's state they would end the promotion if there was no stock, which they didn't, they promoted it until the 30th.
      Also threatened ACCC complaint as I was misled by the loyalty team that I would get the buds when actual fact they had no stock as above.

      Came back to me with this respone:

      "Thank you for emailing the Samsung Members Community Team

      We were unaware of the popularity of this promotion and will be more prepared for any future promotions.

      As such, we will be re-stocking on the Galaxy Buds2 (White) and will have you added to the list of second run winners. We are expecting 1 - 2 weeks to replenish our stock."

      Extremely poor form.

        I ordered phone and buds2 (via promotion) on the 28th April and have received no emails or anything. Yesterday, I emailed [email protected] asking for an update (I included my order number). I just received a response and it is word for word the same as yours, saying 1-2 weeks. Maybe your threat to report to the ACCC made them wary and they are choosing to honour the promotion for everyone now? If so, good job :)

        I agree that it is poor form though. They didn't even send a confirmation when I applied for the buds2. How hard is it to send a stock email saying they received the order?! At least I would know it went through ok. Maybe that is done deliberately so if they only honour a certain percentage then the others don't have written proof to make a complaint?

      • I ordered after the cutoff, I've seen other people that got theirs delivered despite ordering on the 4th of May, can I use this reasoning to get the buds you think? Theyy just told me I ordered after the cutoff after sending that email initially

          Nothing from myside. They state it might take up to 2 weeks to replenish the stock so may be another follow up email next week?

          Im actually quite disappointed with how they operate these promotions. I would be happy if the loyalty team didn't even mentioning about this promotion. They literally told me that there is no better time to buy the S23 Ultra with free buds. They didn't mention it is subject to stock level.

        • I haven't heard anything since either. But they did say 1-2 weeks so I am happy to wait. I am less concerned now that I have something in writing to say I will get them.

                I think I will received the earbuds when Samsung release its S30U. This is a joke. I dont think a company of such size cannot restock an item for more than 3 weeks.

    So I just recently purchased an S23 but the pair of Galaxy buds 2 which I redeemed for buying the S23 has not come. It was a deal where for any purchase of the S23 series, I would receive a free pair of Galaxy Buds 2 after signing a form. I had not received it so I decided to email the Samsung Loyalty team but they said that I am not eligible to receive the buds as I purchased my phone with other discounts or promotions (e.g. loyalty discount). However, before signing the form, I asked Loyalty Team via phone and by email, if I could receive the Buds even if I used other promotions which they said I could. I am unsure what to do now because I saw that other people on OzBargain also received the Buds and I have also been given false information/misled by the Loyalty Team about receiving the Buds. How should I respond to the Support team?

            • @Brown Food: If that's the case, I guess you could just look at it as the other people, who did receive it, were just lucky because someone else f'd up. (Although that won't necessarily make you feel better).
