its pretty garbage season, i wont be buying a CoD game again. So much spam to upgrade and buy more crappy "packs". its a rediculous grind to get back your COD points. This season features the worst content i have ever seen in a game, and ask for $45 for a season… garbage.

    • Yeah that $45 was abit crazy. Wasn't it always just extra cod coins? 1000 vs 2400?

    • I played S1 of MW2/DMZ and found I had enough time to finish the battle pass.
S2 felt like they turned down the token drop rate on the BP which made that impossible to finish (for me, balancing work/family) - I didn't get the BP finished and I only just got all the other coins available without completing.
S3 feels the same as S2 in stinginess of token drop rate, and most of the cosmetics look ordinary - I have the COD points to purchase it but I just don't think I can be F-ed…

It's coming to the point where COD should just be free to play (multiplayer not Warzone). Because every aspect of the game is designed to keep you playing or more aptly to keep you in that hamster wheel. Even if you just buy the base game and none of the DLC you're still contributing to their profits because the skins etc are only worth something if it can be shown off to mates or other players. Hence the game is designed to keep you (and everyone else) playing. E.g. Compared to MW1 I cant even grind all the attachments for my favourite gun just by using it. Some attachments are unlocked by using other guns so I'm forced to grind another gun and so on. The game has become such a big cash cow for Activision and over the years they've just become so scummy in the way they've designed the game.

The world was their oyster with WZ1 and (despite some hate) MW2019
Talk about absolutely bottling it. WZ1 was such a vehicle to drive multiplayer game play and sales and they really went backwards.

    • Agree with your comments original15. They really dropped it with MW2/WZ2.

My mates and I have given up with MW2 and COD in general. We played season 1 and struggled to stay motivated, and it's just gotten worse since then. The grind is the worst it's ever been, and the decision making with content design & structure of the game is terrible.
We're all sitting on plenty of COD points, but are just over the direction they are taking the game. 4 out of 5 of us have already said we likely won't purchase another COD game.
Even one of the group, who was always a bit of a whale in completing every battlepass and buying the occasional pack, hasn't spent any further money in MW2.

We were hoping they'd reintroduce Plunder mode to Warzone for a bit of fun, but to be honest, I think it's too late.

Im hoping they get desperate enough and bring back rebirth island and would love to see rotation of the BR maps and see verdansk come back. They’d see huge numbers come back for nostalgia of verdansk.
But the decisions around the movement and gameplay, woeful.

  • I wish I could get my refund for cod mwii
