Went into store last night and saw these on special for $55.

Currently selling for $89 in DM.

Find this tequila a bit pricey (obviously with George Clooney creating it) but it's actually quite good for mixing and shots. Especially for this price it absolutely wins against every other Tequila - it's smooth and easy going for a Blanco Tequila.

I've seen this for $55 at Liquorland, First Choice and now Coles Online so I'm not sure if it's a clearance or launch price.

  How do you rate this vs Espolon? only $3 more expensive and I find that to be quite good for the price

    Typically I think this sits with Don Julio, Patrón and Herradura as a premium tequila so an unfair comparison tbh.

    I agree Espolon is great for the price but considering this is ~$30 cheaper than usual it's Casamigos all the way.

    I only drink reposado but have tried both Espolon and Casamigo variants. For what it's worth Casamigos is nicer but not worth what they're charging now ($100), I'd rather 2 bottles of Espolon.

    I bought a few bottles of Casamigos 2 years ago for around $50 to try when they were first released and thought it was really good, but definitely wouldn't blow $100 on a bottle.

    Honestly I'd rather have the Espolon, Casamigos used to be good but these days it has a very unpleasant artificial vanilla taste to it.
    If you like your Blanco's with that raw/green/peppery agave forward profile you won't like Casamigos

    But $55 is a great price, I'd buy it just to do shots with guests that don't like tequila.

  This Tequila is celebrity owned rubbish tequila. Full of additives.

  If you want a good tequila in the sub $80 price bracket look at Arette or El Tequileño.

    I do really like the El Tequileno repo, I don't like being stooged with the watered down version in Oz!

    My local Dan's in South Melbourne has been stocking Cimarron reposado for around $75 (although not on their website) and has been a revelation in that price range.
