Thanks OP, but how does this work please?
Do I need a Westpac card?

    • To get the bonus, yes, and it needs to be linked to Shopback.

There is information here that you can review on how all this Westpac and Shopback collaboration works. These are the eligible Westpac cards to access these offers

  • Store app bookings

    What does this mean

    • maybe means dont use petcircle app to make purchase. yeah they have very simple app. website much better anyway

  • I can't see it on my shopback account on browser. Is this targeted? Do i need to use the app?

    • +1

This deal is "targeted" to users with eligible Westpac cards linked to their Shopback accounts. To view Westpac lounge offers, I have used the app by clicking the "Earn More" tab on the bottom menu bar.

I found this link via web browsing so you don't necessarily need the app to view these offers

      • I didn't have any Westpac card linked but added one today. Doesn't seem to have this offer in my account though. I guess I need to wait for the next offer.

  • damn i think i need to apply for westpac a/c now. any a/c without monthly fees ?

    • This fee is waived for:

      • Customers that deposit at least $2,000 each month
      • Customer under the age of 30 or full-time tertiary students
      • Australian Pensioner Concession or Health Care Card holders
      • New to Australia or expatriate customers (for the first 12 months).
      • hmm oh well in and out again then…. hopefully can setup some automation. at least no need to spend x times like ing.
but 2k is a lot, not like ubank.

anz doesnt do deals with cashreward anymore, right?

        • No ANZ deals. Right.

          • @sween64: hmm so anz finally realised this thing isnt that good, then why westpac joined SB. weird

            • @CyberMurning: Each bank has their own plan and strategy which can always change over time. I don't think you can really draw a conclusion from a single case (ANZ and CR).

All I know that Westpac SB deals are much better than CR Max back then, so I'm not questioning/complaining anything :D

          Just set up automation.
My main account transfers $2k once a month. The following day once a month the Westpac account transfers $2k back. It's like getting paid a day later.
With all the Westpac associated rewards, it's worthwhile setting up this automation in my opinion.

  • Does this stack with the new customer $20 discount or the $10 referral discount?
