If I recall correctly, these are discontinued model and replaced by the Pro 2.

no sales for them rn. and this is still cheaper

        It a minor upgrade anyways:

        Main difference:

        • Input mode: Pro+ requires you to press down Start + A/B/X to select your mode, whereas the Pro 2 has a physical switch on the back.
        • Button Customisation: Pro+ can only be customise via PC in wired mode, whereas the Pro 2 can configure wirelessly via Mobile App.
        • Profiles: Pro+ requires you to reconnect to PC if you want to change profile, whereas the Pro2 has 9 inbuilt profiles.
        • Button: Pro 2 has 2 additional back paddle buttons.

The input mode upgrade is quite good. I own both of them. And for pro2 I no longer need to memorize which combo gives me the input mode I want.

          • @RotiYS: The combos are written on the controller on the label.

            • @lunchbox99: not on my sn30 pro plus though. weird.

              • @RotiYS: not sure. the writing is tiny. I have trouble reading it in normal evening light

can someone recommend a good replacement thumbstick for these? the ones on mine started peeling bad

  • OOS

  • Wish these has amiibo support

  • works on PC as well ?

    • +3

      yes

  • My pc doesn't have Bluetooth and I'd like a wireless controller. Any recommendations for a controller with a 2.4ghz receiver or similar?

    • +1

Pretty sure the new Xbox controllers have versions that come with a receiver

      • Sold separately, though commonly bundled together.

    • How about a Xbox controller?

If 8bitdo then prolly any 8bitdo controller+ 8bitdo USB receiver can do the trick.

      Or

I think there's a new 8bitdo ultimate controller with charging dock can switch between 2.4g and Bluetooth.

      I only had pro2 and sn30 pro+.

      • these are better for traveling though. smaller and lighter.

Get a USB bluetooth dongle for cheap

    • Get an Xbox controller with the official wireless USB receiver. It's flawless and just works

  • OOS :(

  • Good for Switch? Currently use the joycons which have developed some sort of bias on the left joystick

    • I think they are pretty decent for switch. Sturdy and nice quality for the price.

Some of the cons I can think of is: not supporting amiibo, cannot wake switch up.

      • What is amiibo? Guess if I dont know it, I dont need it?

        • +2

It's like interactive figure or card that works with your games.

you probably dont need it btw.

        • +2

          Correct.
