Quite a decent economy fare to Bangkok with Thai, a 4 star rated airline.
Over $1000 for the 'budget' AirAsia, and Student Flights is asking for $891 for flights to Bangkok with Thai. So a pretty cheap trip over to Thailand on a great product.

Catches are that you have to be a student or under 26 or 31 (Youth). Fares for everyone else are pretty average, starting from $889 return. And, "This offer is valid when you purchase either 2 nights accomodation or any insurance policy from STA Travel." so maybe book a couple of cheap nights in Bangkok with STA. (Thanks Car-la-la)

    i believe there is another catch … to qualify for these flight prices you need to book travel insurance through STA or a few nights accommodation through them (both over priced - but great flight price all the same!!)

        When did this start? Is it for all flights or the really good ones :P
        Before I only had to get an isic card.

      you can get a student edge card online but not sure if STA will accept it?

All customers eligible must be in possession of a valid ISIC or IYTC card at time of booking, customers can purchase the card for $25 in conjunction with this package. Tickets on sale until sold out. Valid for departures between 08OCT-02NOV12.
    Travel must be completed within 1 month. Baggage allowance is 30kgs.

    You need a ISIC or IYTC card aswel please be aware but you can purchase directly from them at time of booking for $25
