In my opinion, it is far better value to buy a "new ipad" 16GB 3G + wifi for $679….the retina screen is heaps better value than 48GB of flash storage.

  Dumb price, when they sell the ipad 3 (new ipad) version for $858.
  
  This refurb is also a bad price considering you can get a brand new ipad3 for only a little bit extra. So I'm going to neg this.
  
  I wouldn't even call it a good deal if it was a brand new Ipad 2, much less a refurbed one.
