ripoff! when you get below $100 post!

    • +1

Random searching seems to have most online retailers $150+ (kogan etc). Any logic on the $100 or just "cheaper is better"?

    • +3

      Hi Mario g,

From what we can find online, this is the cheapest price in Australia. The closest I saw was Kogan which has them for $10 more and a higher delivery fee.

      Thanks,
      Ari

You should only use the search function on ozbargain. You would do a lot better around $120

          Hi, those are all expired.

@jimkiddsports: like your shoes and sales that you keep posting!

          • -2

@jimkiddsports: Yeah but that's what you're going off. Previous deals on here. This isn't some great marketing tool for your posts every friday. You guys should of been banned a long time ago. more than 80% of your posts aren't deals.

            • +3

@frondono: There is no rule against posting deals (and they are always discounted) from our own website. In fact:

"Unlike other online communities/forums, at OzBargain we encourage merchants, service providers or store owners to post their deals on OzBargain."

Feel free to ignore our posts in the future.

PS: The proper grammar is "should have".

              Kind regards,
              Jim Kidd Sports

@jimkiddsports: This isn't a deal. the best argument you've got is to pick on my grammar? shows that you've got nothing of substance. I'm going to keep down voting these shitty deals.

exactly my point! wonder why i got so many negs….not that i care..probably all from jim kidds sports..lol - the place where you order online and it never gets delivered. what a joke!

  • Which one is better ? Nimbus 25 or this?

      • The user scores on the runningshoesguru site are pretty harsh for both shoes. After someone forks out this much money on a shoe, I thought they would be giving higher scores.

I use the Kayanos as a walking shoe.

(I wish I could purchase these for under $100 per the poster above, but I think the cheapest ever would have been around $130 delivered, using multiple offers at the time.

Hi Kawaii, thanks for your message.

The Nimbus 25 is a great running shoe if you're looking for a neutral shoe with maximum cushioning that is very comfortable. It is similar to HOKA shoes in this way. However, some might find the cushioning to be too soft and bulkier with the increased midsole height.

The Kayano's on the other hand, are supportive shoes with a responsive feel. They are also highly cushioned, but offer more support through the rearfoot and arch. In my experience, they are also more durable.

The Nimbus is lighter while the Kayano is more stable. It depends on what you're looking for!

      Thanks, Ari

  • Is the Gel Kayano 29 significantly better than the 28s? Currently the Kayano 29s are on sale at Rebel for $199 so was wondering if they are worth the extra $40 over the 28s?

    • Only if you really want them to be lighter than the 28s

    • +1

      They're all the same IMO.

I've bought them since 2017 and none have really stood out as 'the best'… it's all the same just a different packaging.

    • As per the posts on this deal, some buyers have reported that the Kayano 29s seem to have some quality control issues that weren't widely present in previous generations. YMMV but it's something to be aware of with the 29s.

    Do you have Wide sizes?

    • Hi Amaris,

We currently don't have any wide sizes in the 28s unfortunately. We do however have Kayano 27s in a 2E and 4E width in Mens.

      Thanks,
      Ari

      • Extremely limited sizes for wider versions. I'd very much welcome a deal for wide versions with a decent range of sizes.

OP can you do any deals on indoor/futsal shoes?

    • +1

      Hi vongz,

I'll see what I can do for future deals. In the meantime, we do have some on sale at this link.

      https://www.jimkiddsports.com.au/search?q=INDOOR+SOCCER&subm…

      Thanks,
      Ari

      • Thanks OP, looking forward to what you can do in the future.
I would put in an order for the Goletto VIII Indoor Boots but Adidas had 30% off and 15% amex with free shipping which makes it quite a bit cheaper than on your site.
        Appreciate your help

  • Thank you OP!

  • Thanks op got one..

  • Thanks OP, picked one up - nice colours

  • Whats a good general daily shoe… been using New Balance 624s in a 13 2E

  • +1

I wouldn't buy from Jim Kidd Sports again, the last one I bought was water damaged. None of that was mentioned and talking to the customer care was waste of time.

  • Any chance of nimbus 24 price matching or beating Kogan/dick smith?
