Huawei Watch Fit Sakura Pink $99 + Delivery ($0 C&C) @ The Good Guys

80

Graphite black version available only for click and collect at selected stores that still have stock left. https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/huawei-huawei-watch-fit-smart… The black version is on a "last chance" sale so that might be why availability is so limited.
Has been cheaper in the past from Amazon UK deals but only posting since it is significantly better than the $238 that Amazon AU is still selling it for.
If it shows for you, the "daily price check" button will bump it down to $94.
Seems to have solid battery life so no need to worry about plugging in frequently like certain flagship watches.

Buyer beware, the Google Play app is no longer available for this watch.

The work around for Samsung phones is to download the app from Galaxy Store.

    • You mean the huawei companion app to connect to the watch?

    • I bought a Band 7 a few weeks ago. Can't use it for this reason. Well, not just for that reason.

-Install Huawei AppGallery via chrome on your android device. (be prepared for Google to attempt to scare you out of doing this)
-Install Huawei Health from Huawei AppGallery.
-Use Huawei Health to attempt to pair your band.
-Pairing can not continue until you create a huawei account.
-In order to create a huawei account your phone number will need to be supplied so we can be sure you are you.

me, cries in not having a phone number.

Mind the confusing naming of the product, the Huawei Watch Fit New is the refreshed version of gen 1 Watch Fit. The newer Watch Fit 2 goes regularly below $200, is currently $189 at JB Hi-Fi. I bought one of the Watch Fit 2 on sale a couple of months ago for my wife (from JB, was probably around $150), find it decent value for the price, especially with the battery life of about 2 weeks.

I've had one of these for a few years. Lasts about a week with all heart rate and sleep tracking on and then charges very fast.
I am pretty happy with it, however it's not a huge upgrade over the Honor Band 7, so if you're on a budget, they're like $55 shipped on Aliexpress. Band series is slightly smaller, however.

I've since gone back to regular digital watches, but I use this from time to time and the connectivity is as reliable as ever.
