Good deal, pity it says you have to visit a branch as they're all NSW/ACT except for one in Glen Waverley in Vic - http://www.imb.com.au/about-us-locate-us.html.

  •

    would this work in ACT?

would the Melbourne entertainment book be useful in ACT?

IMB are also in NSW. There's no mention at all about a "Melbourne" entertainment book, or the deal being Melbourne only.

Eligible members will receive a region specific Entertainment Book based on the branch in which the relevant accounts are opened.

  •

Going to get one tomorrow - thanks :)

  •

I would edit it this OP if you read the fine print book is based on the branch you open the account - so that would suggest NSW and ACT Books as well

Think the picture is representative only

just opened one and the teller waived this requirement for 2 years.

      •

        which branch did you go?

        •

I don't think it's a special thing - it seems to be the norm when I spoke to them.

    •

I just got one and the 2 year requirement was waived. They had run out of entertainment books but were getting more next week and were going to mail mine. Awesome deal - thanks OP!

Got mine, prepared to spend 30-45 minutes for the whole process as they're pretty much doing a mini-survey at the same time you're signing up the account.

      which branch did you go?

  •

i called and asked if i opened it via post if i would still qualify or not for the book first they said yes i would. Then they turned around and said no at the last minute saying i needed to go into a branch to pick up the Free Entertainment Book. can anyone confirm if its possible to open up the account via post and still get the FREE Entertainment Book?

I went to Wynyard branch (NSW) today and was told that they ran out of Ent books and they weren't sure if they were getting anymore. I opened an account none the less hoping that they well.

did anybody manage to get the Ent Book today?
