Victron Blue Smart IP65s Battery Charger 12V 5A $106.63 Delivered @ Micktron eBay

Needed a battery charger and started looking for Ctek deals. Reading the comments led me to this Victron charger being better than the Ctek, and at a great price too.

Need to stack both coupons, may be able to stack them with other Click Frenzy deals too, as well as discounted gift cards.

  • These are top shelf chargers, and the app enables you to quickly choose the right charging profile. Build quality seems better than Ctek (having owned an MXS 7.0).

  • Yeh, this is a good charger. It has bluetooth capabilities so you can control and monitor from your phone. I have also used it to charge the cells in a Ozito PXC pack. It charges slowly - took a few hours to charge the Ozito PXC cell and 24 hours to charge a Q100 car battery from flat to full. For top-up charging of a car battery, it works well, taking a few hours. The leds indicate the state of charging too.

  • I have the 15 amp version, good charger but it gets super hot on the underside.. Just be mindful to sit/mount it so there's airflow around it… i.e. dont sit it on carpet, don't sit it on a motorcycle seat, or such…. The 5a version probably isn't as bad….

    • That's good to know. That it gets super hot. My ctek is walk mounted. The MXS5.0 for the bike and and the 7.0 for the car.
Neotehrdo lithium though unfortunately…..so definitely looking to upgrade.

All connections are the Ctek style hard wired in connection fittings.

  • I have the 12A version of this, it's a fantastic charger. The app is great, can select different battery types and charging profiles. I use it to keep my camping batteries fully charged and in good condition.

  • I have this exact 5amp charger. Yep, it's a bit slow, but that's what makes it affordable. Absolutely top quality. Recommended!

  • I dont think that codes can be stacked in ebay?

  • Great charger, have the 15Amp version.

Bluetooth app is good, can see the charging cycles clearly.

  • Good charger, seemed expensive at this price but realised got mine 2 years ago now (for $88, damn inflation…)

Little slow now that I've got lithium, but still use to top up (theres a Victron 75/15 SmartSolar in the battery box so I bought one of these for $19 and feed it into the solar input if I need to charge faster at home, rather than throw down another $200+ to buy the 15A version)

  • +1

15 amp down to $188 if evilbay plus member that what I am getting

    • The 15amp is a good size for a 100Ah battery IMO, comfortable overnight recharge if you have a powered campsite, and such… (I mainly rely on solar and DCtoDC, but I like to carry the AC charger for the very odd occasions I'm parked up on a powered site for days in bad weather or such)

It's back in stock. Just got it for $105.90.

  • Trying to find if these connections from victron will fit my existing hard wired in Ctek connections?

Both bikes on trickle charge and the car have gard wired Ctek connections to simply plug in the charger.
Be good to have a lithium option charger

    • They do fit and are the right polarity, but don't lock in place with the Ctek hard wired cable as the Victron plug is deeper. It is a tight enough fit to just stay there though so it does work.
