  • Are they good? Heard some nightmare stories on the review page

    • +1

They are a state owned retailer so they are trustworthy and the bills are accurate. But they aren't your cheap rates retailer.

    • Had no energy issues with them. Only switched because electricity rates increased and I got a cheaper rate elsewhere.

    • I've had no issues at all, they were the cheapest gas provider for us, and the referral bonus & Qantas points are a nice bonus

  • Does Red Energy have a app so you can track your usage?

    • +1

It doesn't, their user inference and experience is subpar.

    • You can also track it through your wholesaler (look on your bill for 'in case of outage ring XX') - For example Jemena

  • been a few months and still havent got my referral bonus yet

  • Anyone know how long before you get credited the points?

  • So I guess 15,000 QFF + $50 is better than $112 cashback? Or can you get both?

    • even if you only value point at 0.5c each then it's a better deal

also the cashrewards deal is through Econnex which some people on this site hate with a vitriolic passion for some reason.

    • Not both :(

  • clicking through the referral system still shows it as $25 not $50

    • Yes the page linked is out of date, that offer ended last year…

      • so where's the page for the current offer?

        • +1

it's on the home page, 'go to deal', but clicking the OzB referral takes you to an outdated page.
