I love natural finish Tele's with buckers. Bring a Thinline and it will be love

    • +1

It's not included in the sale, but our TL69BND might be just the one for you!

      • Had a look. Does the TL69BND ever go own sale? Looks pretty decent. Artist have been around long enough now that I might have a crack.
Considering what a genuine Thinline or even Japanese goes for its tempting.
Also, whats your relationship with Swamp?

        • +1

There probably won't be a TL69BND sale anytime soon; we very rarely run sales. I hope you go for it, and you can rest assured that if you change your mind on the guitar or have any issues, we have you covered for free returns and your choice of a full refund, replacement, or exchange under our 100-day satisfaction guarantee - worth a go surely!
We are a separate company from Swamp, but Swamp and eBay are the only sites aside from our own that sell Artist guitars, we do not have any normal distributors

    Sweet deal.

LPT: Remember to check their eBay store before you buy. If it drops as well and you have an eBay code (eg eBay plus $20) then $179 delivered is a bargain.

Reminder that it's a heavy bugger. I've been looking at one for a while but the weight has always put me off. At this price, though, I'll just do some weight relief to the body with some Forstner bits and my router, or maybe run it through the thicknesser, take some off the back, maybe add some contours. (Lots of options)

    • It's ok if you're just practicing sitting down which is 100% of my playing.

    • +1

Great guitar but agree, very heavy…

    • You might like our AT91, 92 & 93! These have all the same woods and quality hardware, but have weight-relieved bodies and some alternate pickup options!

  • Hi OP
Apologies for the off topic comment, but is there any chance of bringing back the 5 string acoustic bass?

    • +1

Never say never, but not at this stage I'm afraid. I'd suggest joining our Facebook group "Artist Guitars Official Designers", where we post surveys on potential new models and interact with our customers on their ideas and suggestions!

  • @ArtistGuitars - will this include the left handed version?

    • This will not include the left-handed version (TC59L) or any colour variants. This is for the TC59 in the natural finish only, my apologies for any disappointment.

    • I second this request. Very disappointing. Also disappointing there are vastly reduced lefty options in guitars and no good lefty bass options (just low spec beginner basses).

      • +1

It's called "market share for lefties"

      • You'll be pleased to know, we have new bass models coming very soon, and lefties too. The best place to stay involved with our products is our "Artist Guitars Official Designers" Facebook group, where we release surveys about new models regularly!

Music noob here. She does look nice, but where does she sit in terms of quality, and in particular for a ground-zero adult on-a-budget learner privately at home? Is this the one to go for or something else? For example, quality of pickups; quality frets; etc? Thanks.

    • Plenty good enough for that. Easily. Watch some YT reviews

    • +2

These and SX are both cutting decent profiles for budget guitars that offer extreme bang for buck without being utter shite.
Next stop would be Squier or Pacifica. If you have a guitar teacher, ask them

    • Thanks for reaching out! We pride ourselves on quality craftsmanship and hardware that is superior to some brands mentioned by other commenters. Things like locking tuners, real bone nuts, coil-splitting Bullbucker pickups, and modern 6-saddle bridges are not often found on guitars in this price range! We are able to offer all this and amazing customer service as we deal directly with our customers, and do not have distributors.

You can purchase with your satisfaction guaranteed. We offer free returns and your choice of a replacement, exchange, or full refund for 100 days, plus a 3-year warranty on every guitar. You have nothing to lose!

Is this any good for a 11yo kid learning to play?

    • +1

It may be a little heavy for an 11-year-old to play standing for extended periods, but it should be around the right size, if they are learning or play seated mostly, this won't be a problem. These are rock-solid instruments that will last many years, with enough versatility to play a great range of musical styles.

    • +1

Video reviewers say it's heavy when playing standing up for an adult, but manageable sitting (again for an adult). I would say find something lighter for a kid

      • +2

They will vary slightly, and you can rest assured that if it's too heavy or your child simply isn't happy with it, we have you covered for free returns and a full refund for 100 days

  • Any special on a Bass guitar tomorrow as well?

    • Only the TC59 model advertised I'm afraid. We rarely do sales as our prices are already extremely competitive!

  • Got one, thanks.

    • Nice one! They sold out in just minutes, so well done

  • OoS - "Sorry, we don't have enough 'Artist TC59 Natural Electric Guitar w/ Bullbucker Pickups (15468)' in stock to fulfill your order: we have 0 available. Please change the quantity on order in your shopping cart and click update. Then try to checkout again."

    • I'm afraid they sold out in just minutes - this was a very popular sale!

  • Out of stock now but fortunately I picked one up earlier. Thanks

    • Well done for getting in there quick, hope you love the TC59!
