Was in the Harvey Norman store at Domayne Auburn (not the main HN only store), and noticed the 500GB Beyonwiz DP-P2 had been marked down from $499 to $248. This is a great PVR, and because it's the DP-P2 it can record from an analogue source.

Not sure if this price is available at other stores, or whether they were just trying to clear old stock.

Beyonwiz site (http://www.beyonwiz.com.au/products.php?id=6) shows it as a discontinued model, but still a very good price for something that was >$500 a couple of years back.

    Yeah, but superseded in HDD capacity only. 2TB is the largest capacity produced.

      Yep, standard SATA power and data cable. 3.5" drive.

      Yes, but only through RCA/S-Video.

      Depends on the features you want. Masterpiece 24xx series might fit the bill.
