Entertainment Book Free Postage

Hi there, If I remember correctly, Entertainmentbook offer free posatge for ordering any other city's edition for a discounted rate. I tried to order a Tasmania copy today but apparently the promotion code has disappeared. Has anyone know if this free postage and handling thing still working and anyone has the code for it? Thanks

are you after any particular vouchers?

I have used a lot of them - but might have a couple spare you can have

    • Hi Natt, thanks for your offer. I will be going to Tasmania for holidays during December, so basically I am looking for attraction vouchers such as Cascade Brewery Tours, Port Arthur Historic Site Management Authority, Peppermint Bay Cruise, Zoo Doo Wildlife Park, AAA Horse Riding Tasmania, Hastings Caves & Thermal Springs…. Quite a few of them. I would appreciate if you could spare me a few. By the way, if you are coming to Melbourne, I would have a few to spare for you as well ;) Let me know if you need any.

      • I actually went to Tassie a few months ago and went to nearly every attraction you mentioned. How many people are there in your travelling party? I found Visit Tasmania Card extremely useful.

        • There are 4 of us. We will only be there for 7 days. I am not sure whether it is worth to pick up a Visit Tasmania Card. By the way, have you got any nice restaurant voucher left? Maybe I can pick up a few from you. So sorry, just realise you are in Melbourne ;)

          • @Piggy: I was there for a 4 days and I bought myself a 3-day See Tasmania card (not Visit Tasmania card as I previously stated, oops).

I did a fair bit of homework on it because the card was not cheap. I sat down one night and planned how to use the card to the fullest, while not getting in the trap of attraction trophy hunting.

I managed to go to 12 attractions, including

            First Day

Went straight to Richmond from the airport…

            • Zoo Doo Wildlife Park (white kangaroos, tassie devils, ponies and two tigers, won't spend too long here)
            • Old Hobart Town Model Village (at Richmond, 5 mins from Zoo Doo, interesting history but won't take you that long)
            • Port Arthur Historic Site

            Second Day

            • Tahune Airwalk
            • Huon River Jet Boat (minimum two ppl)
            • Hastings Caves and Thermal Springs (Very good tour)
            • The Lark Distillery (in Hobart CBD, free bottle of liqueur)

            Third Day

            • Tasmanian Gourmet Sauce Company (drove up from Hobart to Lonnie, $9 credit to get free sauces! Well worth it)
            • Grubb Shaft Gold and Heritage Museum (it's Beaconsfield mine, it was being renovated in July and should include an exhibition of the incident a couple years back)
            • Seahorse World (not fantastic)
            • Platypus House (well worth a visit, you can actually see platypus (not in dark) and three cute indoor echidnas)
            • Nocturnal Penguin Tour (little penguin just like Philip Island but you get to stand on the beach and really really close)

I was going to go to Freycinet but I decided against it, instead spend my fourth day in Launceston instead. My trip was fairly easy and was in no rush at all. If you planned well and go to all the attractions in the same area in one day, instead of spending lots of time driving between attractions at different areas, I think See Tasmania can save you money.

But I agree it's a different situation when you have 4 ppl instead of just two, it becomes so much more expensive.

  • Hi,

I've never heard of such a code but I've logged in and it's $45 for the Tassie version plus $6 P&H, just FYI.

    • Hi cacbm, the code was sent out during October update to my e-mail, so maybe the promotion had expired. Thanks anyway.
