Purchased these as a much cheaper alternative, currently with a 10% coupon:
    https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0BYN9K3FW

Will have to see how they go and if they are comparable to these…

    • They are not bone

I am using this and it is amazingly good for the price.

      • Is it good for calling?

      • Thought so, keen to try them out. Generally that's been my experience with Soundpeats, very good quality for a fraction of the price.

        • my experience with Soundpeats

Yeah, I have a few pairs, very good earphone but not this one. I don't think I will use one to do sport.

  • Can SHOKINDEAL code be used for the Mini's?

    • The page only said extra $5 off

      • +1

That's what I was seeing too, but was hoping someone had figured it out.

        • Went to desktop site( on phone), put it in cart, on checkout it already added shokindeal of 15 % off then it just wanted you to check the 12 off voucher , gave total of 179.09 due.
I didn't go through with purchase as already have 3 different models of these over last 5years. All still working.

  • Thanks OP.

I already have one pair and find them very good for bike riding. These have much less wind noise than other in-ear headsets. I don't want to completely blockout surrounding noise and these are great.

  • These are crap. One side completely failed randomly mid run after about 7 months of use. Disgusting!

      Warranty?

      • I’m too rich to bother wasting my time with warranty - straight in the bin.

          Still on ozbargain?

    • hmm thats strange thats my main use case, i keep 'em at work ,listen to podcasts, long YT videos but mostly audiobooks, its just feels natural to me, if you live/work in noisy area i can see why you don't like 'em. i highly recommend these(open , open pro).i wear these all day long without any fatigue.

      • Have the pro and the sound quality better and others can hear you still while riding a bike.
Only problem is the pros don't come in small size.
Have the small ones too but wind noise makes phone calls impossible while riding. Can wear these comfortably for about 3 hours then the vibrations on your temporal bones make them itchy feeling.
Ideal one for me would be coloured , small and pro, unfortunately can only get 2 out of my 3 wishes.

reason i didnot go for pro is that the ipx rating for water resistance is low on pro, i cant fathom how the highest model for shokz is less water resistent than 2nd highest model.

  • I bought these — er… like these, sorta — for a couple of dollars from AliEx. Are they true bone or whatever? Prolly not, but pretty happy with how they work (for news and podcasts, at least).

    • If it works for u its good products for you., When my previous aeropex broke, i bought cheap 402$ ones and damn thing was hard plastic and damn thing kept pressure on front side of ear, used for like 30min, never used again. eventually bought openrun. Sound on 40$ ones was quite gud, dare i say even louder than shokz but comfort just wasn't there. I use my openrun for like 12 hours average on workdays, sometimes i forget that i am wearing these if i am not playing that how comfy i find these,

sometimes i forget that i am wearing these if i am not playing

Same with my $5 ones from AliEx. And they also last a whole day.

  • Thank you OP.
I have a broken Aftershokz Aeropex and contemplating to buy new one or not. It was great unit for outdoor running and cycling. It lasted good 1year and then I stared to have rattling problems. Warranty was great, I got a replacement pair which also lasted 1 year.

Let’s see how long it will last with me again.

    • I used to have the Aeropex then I got the Pro. Major difference in sound (Pro fuller and more noticeable bass).

      Worth the upgrade.

    • One of my friends broke his too , but he didn't keep his in a case. The new pros come in a reasonable solid shell case. Pros are great if they fit you.

  • How are you getting $147.66 on the OpenRuns?

    • JUN202312
      SHOKINDEAL

      • Ahh, doesn't work on the mini version of it.

        • Not for mini , only extra $5 off.

  • Does anyone have the beige? Does it get really dirty and manky?

  • Just jumped in and got this deal, been waiting in the wings for a while to see the price come under $200. Got the Blue ones, last one. Both coupons worked a treat UN202312 SHOKINDEAL to drop list price by $60.33 to $179.07. Happy as a pig in sh*t :-) Thanks Ozbargainers.

    • Same, such a good price :)

  • How do you apply the 2nd code (JUN202312)? I have reached the stage where they applied 15% off with the 1st code (SHOKINDEAL). Thanks.

    • +1

Have eBay plus? If not have to use the other one

  • is it just me or SHOKINDEAL has stopped working?

    • "SHOKINDEAL" replaced by EXTRA AU $5 OFF 2+ ITEM

      • thx
