  • Is this better than 5600 CL36? That is $170 at Centrecom

    • +1

From other posts, I believe it is best to get the 5600 CL36 and overclock to 6000.
I'll try and find the comment from the post.

      • Many thanks for confirming, I bought the Cl36 so this makes me feel better! Aside from bumping up the speed to 6000 are there any other variables I should change?

I’m very new to this and there are a lot of guides for different memory types. I’ve seen suggestions to bump up voltage from 1.2 to 1.35 when facing instability, but it sounds like a last resort and not great for lifespan.

        • Up to 1.4V you will be completely fine. The exact same chips run in some of the 6400MT/s RAM that come with 1.4V EXPO profiles out of the box, so are manufacturer guaranteed.
Look for Buildzoid's Hxnix overclock guide on Youtube to get simple guide on what to set to get a safe maximum out of your Hynix M-die

  • This is normal price locally right now.

  • Again, why always intel memory? never saw AMD
