Advert Supported Netflix - What Movies and TV Shows Are Not Available?

I was looking to change Netflix to the advert supported one for $6.99 pm.
It says …
Ad-supported, all but a few movies and TV shows available, unlimited mobile games
Watch on 2 supported devices at a time
Watch in Full HD

Anyone know exactly what the few movies and tv shows that won’t be available? Any examples?
(I searched but didn’t find anything)

Here in Australia, some of the shows inaccessible at the time of writing include Brooklyn Nine-Nine and The Good Place.

    • Thanks.
That info in the article is wrong though. It says only one stream at a time and limits you to streaming in 720p HD, so no Full HD.

Netflix says the advert one has two streams simultaneously and fullHD.

      • oops, thats an old article it seems.Cant seem to find any recent info on what titles are not available.

Finally found something. Found an article on Finder, says it’s from 2022 but they must update it as you can filter buy 2023 shows.
Seems it’s a big problem with Sony shows … bullet train, back to the future etc.

          • @PVA: That list isn't updated. I am on the basic with ads plan and some of the titles shown in the list are available. Bullet Train and Back To The Future (all 3 parts) aren't even on Netflix at all. Maybe they were. They are on Prime Video though.

            • @dreamykitten: Thanks. I thought they were, but I Foxtel and Prime and they are on those two so maybe I all confused.

Looks like I just give it a try and see how it goes. It’s that or cancelling Netflix all together.

How many ads do you see? I'd find even a single ad annoying. I find promos for other shows annoying.

    • I don’t know, I am asking what it’s like.

Seems like 5-10% of shows are unavailable.
Ads don’t worry me to be honest, but maybe the Netflix ones will. Don’t know.

I thought maybe it’s worth $6.99 . Tired of paying $22.99, did this so my son could watch as well, but now he has moved out it has stopped and I’m not (nor him) paying another $8 on top of the $23 already.

For us it's 2 ads per 45 minute episode, or for something like Rick and Morty it's 1 ad per episode

Each ad is 30-60 seconds long, pretty annoying but not that bad if you only watch a little bit

      • Thanks. To be honest we don’t watch Netflix much so $23 was really for my other family members but they are at other houses now.
Ads are fine, but as long as the selection is still decent.

    • definitely easier than setting up Netflix via Turkey

      It really isn't that hard…

        • Hey, so just wondering about the quality. Do you only get 1080p or is it actually 1080p hdr/dolby vision for supported content? Cos if it's 1080p hrd etc then its good enough for me to sign up again.

            • @xdpx: Awesome! If you're able to check and let us know would be great. I know if you use the built in tv app you can press the info button to get those details, not sure about the fire tvs though.

                • @xdpx: Thanks for that mate, much appreciated!

      Thanks, I really appreciate this.

Looks like we will drop from the $23 plan to this $7 one.

Saves me some money so I can spend it on the Amazon deals @hamza23 posts.

        • It doesn’t start until the 8th , I’ll try to remember to let you know or send me another message.
