I hate you. Bought a pair of eq19

@easternculture: my job is done here 😂

            • +1

@RogueWolf: Now i have black (from previous 40% off deal) and white eq19s

              • @easternculture: The previous deal was better, pretty sure it worked out to about 20 bucks

                • -1

                  @Jackson: Nah, it was $36
                  https://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/46868/104391/screensho…

But if cashback is paid on these, total cost will be $29

                  • @easternculture: I checked my invoice and it's a bit useless as it shows 45 for the shoes but then I only paid 99 for 3 pairs delivered, with the other 2 being alphabounce showing up as 60 each. So price total was 165 and then 99 after adidas discount, and then cash back was on top of that. Since 99/165=0.6, price as 0.6*45= 27 bucks for the eq19, and then cash back was on top of that.

Edit: just checked the post, cash rewards was 20% back, so total price on eq19 ended up being 21.60. Pretty insane

@Jackson: Not sure how your calculating.

I got them for $36 and then abit over $5 cashrewards (take gst off before cashback).

But the CR order was cancelled (still CB paid by adidas) and used a $15 bonus from cheddar which also for some reason stacked with a $5 cheddar bonus plus something like 10% cashback So ended up paying less than $8 for the eq19

                      • @easternculture: Nice work, I am yet to get onto cheddar so not sure what that's about. Re:calculations all I did was work out the ratio of the total discount price and total invoice price and apply that ratio to the unit full price to work out the unit discount price.

@RogueWolf: thank you, ghost of consumerism.

      Thanks mate!

  • Are any of these good for weightlifting?

    • +62

None of them look particularly heavy

      • 1ml a week and watch the gains

Clearly you underestimate the weakness of my legs…

    thanks, got 2 pairs!

Shoe size mentioned in website is US or Uk size ?

  • I have the senseboost, it's actually really good for walking a lot at work.
Can anyone recommend good pair for running?

    • Eq19

      • Those are women shoes tho right?

        • Unisex?

          • @Jackson: Listed under women shoes on the website so unsure.

            • @tajid: Must have been the other pair I bought that were unisex, alphabounce maybe? They said the women's just runs 1 or 2 sizes smaller than the mens

  • What inflation!?

Shopback 10% + 15% Westpac bonus might be a better alternative to the 10% code

    • Was the Westpac bonus yesterday?

  • I'm not going to say no to some beater cycling shoes for $67.50

    • Same. Got the cycling shoes.

    • Tempted to try these, but am conflicted between these and shimano rc100/rp1 for similar price

    • Honestly, who buys road cycling shoes that get tied up by laces? I haven't had a pair of cycling shoes with laces in 15 years. It's either been a ratchet strap or BOA dial.

      • I'll be using these indoors

  • Bought a pair of SENSEBOOST GO SHOES..fanx op

  • +1

I really find these adidas shoes to be plastic and of poor quality

Boston 11 are a steal for $117. Lots of sizes available too.

  • Got the Senseboost, thanks OP

  • I have so many new runners I’ve started buying them for my wife 😂 thanks

  • Looks like this is now expired as I see $100 for SENSEBOOST.
