REP, I think you are seriously losing business by still not having an SSL secured checkout. You should look into Paypal integration. Most decent online shop systems (e.g. Magento) support it.
Hi, thanks so much for your comments. We are very very close to launching the new website which will include paypal integration. Our developers are actually testing the new website now and is due to launch in days (if all is well) - thank you again and won't be long for the all-new ikOala!

ChristinaUQ on 27/09/2012 - 10:54 ¶Hi Rep, I received 6 scarves today and am very disappointed as they are not what you describe. They surely cannot measure 190 x 72.5cm, as you can see in the picture its width is around 27cm, stretching most to 50cm. The material is a kind of thin mesh, not "70% Pashmina and 30% Silk blends" as claimed. And there are no tassels as in the ad pictures one month ago. As what I receive is not what you advertised, I think I will return them. Could you please tell me how to return and get a refund? Thanks

Same here. I'd also like to return them and get a refund.
On the website it says the value is $79 for 2; there's no way it's even near that price. I've bought scarves from Cotton On for $1 that were much better quality than these. The scarves just look like strips of thin mesh fabric.
They look identical to these scarves listed on eBay:
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/251155905213
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/190698874724They have the same heart picture as the first eBay listing and the same crinkle pattern mentioned in the description of the second eBay listing. From the last photo in the second eBay listing, you can also see that the thin mesh material and crinkle pattern is identical to that of the scarves in the photo provided by ChristinaUQ. The dimensions from the eBay listing are also much more accurate than the dimensions you provided.
They aren't $39.5 each, they're max $1.20 each. And the quality reflects the eBay price.

- Scarves were clearly not made of pashmina and silk.
- Scarves were not even describable as scarves. More like extremely thin and crude fabric off-cuts that I would rank as having zero value, just about zero warmth value and zero durability under normal handling. A picture would tell you all you need to know here. See-through and paper-thin. When I got the package I thought they surely forgot to put a scarf in there, let alone more than one.
- These extremely thin man-made material fabric off-cuts were not of the dimensions stated by the seller.

Easily the worst purchase I've made in recent memory.
Refunded, though time is unfortunately not.
sunshinevnz on 10/10/2012 - 20:43 ¶Hi Rep
It's been almost 7 weeks and my order hasn't yet arrived. Didn't you say delivery would be within 3-4 weeks? When other businesses quote 3-4 weeks, they will try to do that within 2 weeks, not taking 7 weeks to deliver like your business.
In another thread, you tried to promote your business's customer service. My experience with it has been totally negative. Such a time waster!
sunshinevnz on 13/10/2012 - 09:05 ¶I guess many people here, like me, thought that you can't go wrong with $5. But you can.
I was wondering if anyone received the "scarves" as described in the ads. After 7 weeks, I received some extremely thin small rags too. The only use I can find for these rags is dusting my desk, but I already have plenty of rags for that!
I had checked out the ikoala website and was quite tempted to buy some of the deals. But after this experience I'll steer clear of them. If I can't trust them with $5, should I trust them with larger sums?
This $5 scarves deal is still on. If anyone has $5 to spare, I suggest that they treat themselves to some ice cream. Don't waste your time just to buy rubbish and troubles!

I am on the same boat, we have surely been scammed on this deal. This rep is total liar, how can he say that they are addressing the issue and sill be selling the item. You should try make a honest living instead of scamming people for their money. We all know it's not much for the individual but i am sure it accumulates to something significant.
