    Had to research it myself - conclusion is (according to TechRadar):

    LG B3 OLED vs LG C3 OLED:
    Coming in a wider range of sizes and boasting brightness-boosting technology, the C3 is currently easier to recommend than the B3 for most people looking for a cutting-edge OLED TV in 2023. The B3 seems incredibly similar to last year’s B2, though an upgraded webOS interface should provide an even sleeker navigation experience.

    But with sky-high energy prices and in an economy where every penny counts like never before, the existence of the B3 (and the lowest-end LG A3 OLED in some parts of Europe) could be the difference between certain people buying any OLED panel or not in 2023. Judging by recent history, the C3 could be our favorite TV of 2023, but we’re glad the B3 provides a more budget-conscious alternative.

    I have a B2 and it’s pretty close to the C version but only two of the four HDMI ports do 2.1 instead of all four like the C series. It’s also slightly less bright but not by much. I think the processor is a bit lower spec too. Most other things are the same though, I love mine and it was way cheaper than the C2

      can you tell the difference in picture quality from C2?

      Is gaming not as good?

        Gaming is exactly the same. If you have PS5 or Xbox series X (or a PC) then just use one of the 2.1 HDMI ports and it will be the same as the C series.
        I’ve only seen the C in the shop so can’t comment personally on image quality but rtings gives 8.8 vs 8.7: link
        I’m in Japan so the pricing is different but I paid about the equivalent of AUD$1600 for my 65B2

        rtings hasn’t reviewed the B3 yet so can’t compare with C3
