One of our stores is closing down and we are trying to reduce some of our heavily overstocked products before we need to clear out.

Our current biggest offer:

Hunter Pacific Aqua IP66 rated DC Ceiling Fan with remote in Black & Koa finish

This fan is ideal for outdoors including coastal locations where moisture may be an issue for normal fans. The IP66 rating mean that it is protected from water to the point that you could hose it down (though for most areas we would not recommend it as it could cause damage to the ceiling). This fan is also very well suited for indoor rooms as it is nice and quiet due to the DC motor compared to the traditional AC motors. It is also economical to run and delivers great airflow compared to other fans in this size and comes included with a remove control. Hunter Pacific also offer a 6 year warranty with the first 3 years being an in home warranty. Please note that the model on sale is the no light model and a light cannot be fitted to it.

A few others that are worth mentioning

Eglo Bondi AC Ceiling Fan with LED Light and wall control in White

* 48" (122cm) span - $210
* 52" (132cm) span - $231

The Bondi is a great simple AC fan that is good for both indoor and outdoor (but shouldn't get hosed down or wet). It has a bright 20W LED light that is 3 step dimmable and is CCT meaning it has warm/natural/cool white colour tone options. It comes included with a 3 speed wall control but can be adapted to be a remote control with the remote kit (optional, sold separately). Eglo provide a 6 year warranty including the in home warranty of the first 3 years.

Eglo Noosa DC Ceiling Fan with LED Light and remote control in White

* 52" (132cm) span - $391
* 60" (156cm) span - $428

This fan is more stylish with a curved blade design that is meant to stand out a little more as a feature. It's also good for both indoor and outdoor (as long as it doesn't get wet) and being with a DC motor it is also quieter and more economical than regular AC fans. It comes included with a remote control and 18W LED light that is also CCT and dimmable. It similarly also has the 6 year warranty and first 3 years in home as well.

Sale Information

Our Hendon store is closing soon and we need to quickly reduce some products that we are heavily overstocked with. We don't have a definite date yet however the sale is ongoing for several weeks (end of July but possibly longer) but is largely dependent on our current stock levels. However all of these products we have way too much in stock so they should be up on sale for a while.
Even though our second store at Cumberland Park is staying open, we are doing the sale at both locations to try to clear as much stock as possible, along with online.

We are normally happy to look at doing further discounts for bulk orders, however on the items in the sale page unfortunately we cannot offer any further price reduction. However for any other products not on that page please feel free to reach out and we'll see what we can do!

Delivery Information

For the duration of the sale we have reduced our free delivery value to $0 so that every product storewide listed now qualifies for free delivery Australia wide. We use a combination of Australia Post and Couriers depending on the location, and all of our deliveries are tracked.
Here are some rough delivery estimates (business days):

  • QLD: 4-7 days
  • NSW/ACT: 4-5 days
  • VIC: 2-4 days
  • SA: 1-2 days
  • TAS: 4-7 days
  • WA: 4-7 days
  • NT: 5-10 days

Please know that as the fan boxes are normally large and weighty they often require manual handling at the sorting facilities and it's not uncommon for the delivery to get delayed by a day or two from the original ETA, however the tracking usually keeps well updated. Please be sure to not book any electricians until you have received the fan.

  • i can vouch for the Eglo Noosa fans - they are amazing! great deal, eyeing off another 60"

    • Yep love our Nooas. Look great, super quiet, and a wide range of speeds.

    • i know comparison is hard, but better than what bunnings has to offer? now that you've bought one, im sure bunnings wouldve been another choice, maybe.

EDIT - just the rrp seems a bit much in comparison to what bunnings has.

  • +1

I've got 2 of the aqua 70" ones outdoors patio.

Great fans….Paid full price for both mine :(

Great deal. They had good after sales services too which was refreshing (I had a missing part in one of the 2 fan boxes and they express posted it out to me quite easily)!

  • I'm a fan of these prices. If you had two fans, can they be controlled individually with the remotes or are they on the same channel?

    • Hi Darkii, the remotes have individual channel so that each will work with only one fan. It is sometimes possible to program one remote to operate multiple fans but this is something we'd normally like to check as some fans might not be able to. Also if you'd ever want to go back to one remote per fan you'd need to reprogram them. If there is a specific fan you are thinking about we can check about if one remote can work with two fans.

  • We have 2 Aqua's, one outside and one in our bedroom.

    Fantastic fans and price!

  • Are the LED lights replaceable on its own? Or does it need to replace the entire fan?

    • Hi racingmiku, that can vary a bit from fan to fan, but for the Eglo ones they are pretty good as they do have replaceable LED panels available for their fans.

  • Can this be controlled by the bond for home assistant

    • Hi asa79, it should be able to. The Bond as far as I know works with regular RF signals which are what the fan remotes use. We have tested it with a few fans from another brand that work on similar remotes, but we haven't tried it specifically with these ones though.

  • How do these compare to Haiku fans?

    • Hi ganymede, we don't currently as of now have access to the Haiku fan, so we can only really compare performance based on the supplier given specs alone. In saying that while we have had very positive feedback from customers about the Aqua fan, we have also only ever heard good things about the Haiku fans. Spec wise we can compare the 52" as both come in that size, however the Aqua comes in 70" and the Haiku looks like is available in 60" and 84" so for the larger one is not a straight up comparison.

      Aqua 52":

      • Power usage: 2W - 19W
      • RPM: 73 - 193
      • Max Airflow: 14,286 m3/hr

      Haiku 52":

      • Power usage: 2.3W - 26.6W
      • RPM: 200 (max)
      • Max Airflow: 11,208 m3/hr

      Aqua 70":

      • Power usage: 8W - 55W
      • RPM: 72 - 167
      • Max Airflow: 24,895 m3/hr

      Haiku 60":

      • Power usage: 1.8W - 21.4W
      • RPM: 200 (max)
      • Max Airflow: 13,036 m3/hr

      Haiku 84":

      • Power usage: 3.8W - 39.2W
      • RPM: 135 (max)
      • Max Airflow: 26,127 m3/hr

These specs are the ones listed on each supplier website as of now. As we don't have personal experience with the Haiku fans it wouldn't be fair for us to comment other than comparing these numbers. Anecdotally though both are a great option.

      • The only IP rated fan in the bigass range is the i6.

I’ve got Haiku in the kitchen and dining area. And I’ve got Ventair DC in the bedrooms. I’ve bought this deal for IP rated fans for the deck outside.

After they were delivered I see version 2 is Tuya wireless compatible. I’m going to order the smart controllers now!

  • Do ceiling fans have common mounting hole width/locations?
We have a ThreeSixty 52" Black Modn-4 Ceiling Fan outside in an undercover area which hasnt lasted as well as we'd hope, but the mounting bolts are through a insulated roof panel (so therefore cant be moved and would need to be reused if we replaced it)

Any ideas if its likely to be common/similar and therefore something like the Hunter Pacific Aqua IP66 suitable for a replacement?

    • Hi SBOB, we are currently looking into this for you. Most fans use a fairly similar mounting bracket with holes that are pretty similar, but I can't say for certain that they would perfectly line up at the moment. We are looking to see if we can find out and hopefully know early next week if it's ok to get back to you on that. If you wanted to, you can also send us an enquiry through our contact page and we can also send you a picture of the mounting bracket and plate that comes with the Aqua (I don't think we can send pictures through here) as you can see if it would be suitable. The Aqua has a plate that sites between the mounting bracket and the ceiling to provide a watertight seal (IP66 rating from the top of the fan also) so this may be another consideration. We may possibly be able to get a more standard canopy that doesn't have the plate however it would no longer have the IP66 rating form the top.

      • thanks, the IP rating isnt that big a deal, more so something clearly made to last outside. The fan blades on the threesixty models we have are showing signs of corrosion.

I'll send an enquiry to your web site as even a pic with some measurements would assist in determining if they line up.

        • Thank you, got your enquiry, I'll get a picture of the Aqua brackets and some measurements tomorrow for you.
The Aqua should definitely handle the outdoors much better (probably better than any other fan). Nearly all of the external parts are the ABS polymer so corrosion isn't a factor and with the IP rating all the internal metal parts are much better protected.

  • Do you have any deals for the aqua in white

    • Hi asa79, at the moment we don't have many of the white ones so they aren't as reduced. We have the 10% off code that will work on them, the code is CLOSING, however if you are after a few feel free to get in contact and we could look at trying to work out something for you on those.

  • I'm interested in the Hunter Pacific Aqua IP66 rated DC Ceiling Fan with remote in Black & Koa finish.
I currently have a fan installed outdoors, controlled by a switch with a dial setting. I'm wondering if this fan could be replaced, and what would happen with the dial switch – would it just change to a normal switch, and the speeds are then controlled by the remote, or do I continue to use the current dial switch?

    • Would be normal switch and remote

      • To piggy back off this question. An electrician would have to change the dial controller on the wall to a normal on/off switch and the fan speed can only be controlled via the remote?

I know you’re not the OP, but does a fan exist that can be controlled both by a dial on the wall and a remote or is it one or the other? Logic dictates it’s probably one or the other.

        • Hi Master Bates, that’s correct with the electrician changing the dial to be an on/off switch and then the remote controlling the speeds and all for the fan. The switch would be become an isolator switch so you'd leave it on all the time and the remote would be used to turn the fan on and such. If the switch would be turned off then the remote would not do anything as there would be no power going to the fan.

Unfortunately it's pretty much always one or the other when it comes to wall controls and remotes. However Hunter Pacific do have a DC wall controller kit for some of their fans with the Aqua being one of them. It is a touch panel type of controller that is wired to power but is still wireless to the fan. It's like a remote control that is connected to the power instead of running on a battery, but not wired directly to the fan. On the fan side as it sends the signals the same way as the regular remote, you can actually use both in this case (similar to programming two remotes to the fan) and have this special wall control and the remote.

    • +1

Hi derdew, with this fan (and majority of the DC fans out there) they have to work on the included remote only. You are correct though, and similar to what the others said the electrician would swap the dial to a regular on/off type switch which now becomes the isolator switch. Essentially you would keep this switch on all the time and use the remote for the fan. If the switch was to be turned off the fan would no longer have power and the remote would not operate. Please keep in mind though that it may be best to confirm this with the electrician when discussing this with them as sometimes there are other regulations that might come into play depending on how things are set up that we may not be aware of.

Also in relation to the question below about having both a wall control and remote, while it was possible with older AC fans (though not technically a proper/legal installation by regulation), the newer DC fans work a little different have can only work through the remote. In saying that though, Hunter Pacific do have the DC wall control kit available for some of their DC fans, Aqua being one, which is a touch panel wall control that is wired to power but is wireless to the fan. In a way it's like a remote control that is wired to power instead of running on batteries. In this case you would be able to use both the included remote and this wall control, but it may require a bit more work installation wise though.

  • Sold on the Aqua.
Have needed one for the pool pergola / gazebo for years.

  • Can any of these fans installed on a slanted ceiling? I have two ceilings, one 10 degrees and the other 25 degrees. Thank you

    • Hi john8112, the Aqua fan as is can only go on a flat ceiling, however there is a raked ceiling kit available that allows it to go up to 38 degrees, it's a slightly different shape and a bit larger. Also it won't have the seal that the included canopy in the Aqua has so it won't have the IP66 rating from the top. I think we have just ran out of these kits but have more coming in this week, the 10% off code applies to them to and it is possible to backorder them if you wanted to go with that fan.

For the Bondi fan can go up to 15 degrees if used with the included wall control, if you were to also get a remote kit for it, it would be much lower or even only for flat ceiling, but we could confirm that for you if you'd like.

For the Noosa fan it can only go to 13 degrees.

Eglo has just released a raked ceiling kit for their fans to, we are in the process of adding them online but they are not just there yet. This kit will allow either the Bondi or Noosa fan to go up passed the 25 degrees (I believe it is up to somewhere around 35-40).

The other option which some people do is to get a wood block and cut it in a wedge shape so that you have a leveled surface for the fan to be mounted, that way you can go with any fan without other kits, but this does involve more work on the installation side.

If any of these sound like an option please let me know and I can get more information for you.

  • Hi OP,

Regarding the Noosa; can just the light function be controlled separately via a regular on/off wall switch?

    • Hi drogba, when you turn the on/off wall switch it turns the power to the whole fan and light together as it's more of an isolator switch. So in a way it will turn the light off, however fans don't always have a memory function where the light will turn on, we have tested this before and found that it's inconsistent. In most cases the light will turn off, but it's not something that is definitely will happen each time. Also while the switch is off the fan won't have power so you won't be able to turn it on. A lot of people do use their fan like this but we normally recommend to keep the wall switch on and use the remote for the light on and off. Sadly it's not possible to separate just the light to be on the wall switch, it all goes through the remote.
