    Omg this is gorgeous!!!

Every collection should have an Eco-Drive.

    • +1

The 12 looks lopsided and I can't unsee it

    • +2

Yep, this one is going into the cart for me. Time to treat myself to another Eco-Drive!

  • Damn, I got all excited at the picture, thought Starbuy were selling some Ray Mears style Promasters again. No luck, the actual Promaster is just normal non numerical one.

    • I don't watch Home & Away.

  • Damn, that CA0739-13H is really growing on me.. Everytime I see it I like it more and more.. But I don't need it.. I NEED that brown Pressage from last month or the month before..

I wrote up a deal on the Squale 1545 but the quantity police got me. It's one of the best deals I've seen from StarBuy in a long time so I'm going to post a summary here.

Squale 1545 - $799 on rubber strap, $899 on bracelet.

    Notable features for this watch:
    *Sellita SW200-1 (4hz, ~38h power reserve)
    *300m water resistance
*Sapphire crystal (flat) with AR coating
    *Ceramic bezel insert
*A very wearable size at 40mm
*48mm lug to lug but the male end links are going to push this out, a bit.

I hope we see more deals like this from StarBuy. Once you've moved beyond cheap Seikos and Citizens, the StarBuy sales can be a bit underwhelming.

Damn that’s a cheap squale. Too cheap. Once you’ve moved beyond cheap squales, it’s all a bit underwhelming. I’d buy it if it was not that cheap. Just too cheap.

      • I’d buy it if it was not that cheap.

I'll ask Deepak to jack the price for you :)

Once you've moved beyond cheap Squales, you're a straight baller. Well done!

        • Bill Gates was a baller, he had a Casio Duro. We just waste money on a weird hobby

          • @onlinepred: Sure, why not?
If you like it and can afford it, go for it!

    • Yep, got the last blue one. Under $1k, nice size, nice colour, easy to service movement. Impulse bought, and getting GST back from TRS

      • +1

        Very nice purchase.

          • @rosebank: Sapphire crystal and titanium for 399 is pretty nice.

I also like the look of the BN0191-80L.
            It's quite big, though.

            • +2

@O15: I looked at that one, but $100 more for titanium, sapphire and GMT is a no-brainer

            • @O15: The BN019x range is the pick of the Citizen divers I reckon. Everything is in balance.

It's not that big. Looks fine on my 6.5ish wrist.

I think it would look good on you.

  • The SNE586P must be just about the cheapest sapphire Seiko kicking around.

  • Does this watch require adjustment for 30 day calendar months?

    • +2

Yes , it is not a Perpetual calendar

  • Agh, just missed a sale on the eucalyptus. Any chance you can extend this or put a sale on the Noosa, @StarBuy?

    • Mine arrived today. That dial really is something in person. Get one if you see it on special again.

I don't need a deal on the Noosa anytime soon though checks on credit card whimpering in the corner

    • You're in luck, it's back on sale.

        Thanks WatchNerd, grabbed one.
