nothing like some formatting to make you think it was $1 :)

    to avoid highlighting/formatting confusion..

    price is $1869 (was $2660)

    • But you save $790.01. Good saving for an outlay of $1. Even if the unit is only worth $2. LOL

  • what a bargain .. :/ these are going to go like hotcakes

  • Requires 12 people to lift.

    • Requires 16 axle truck to deliver (free, that is).

What an extraordinary coincidence. I was just thinking about impulse shopping for a cast iron entertainment unit worth several thousand dollars, and your post popped up! I'll take 4!

    • I'll take 4!

you can buy up to 18…

  • Don't forget to like them on facebook for the $10 discount!

  • stay in trend with (insert random brand name nobody has heard of)

  • steampunk themed living room anyone?

cool idea, but doesn't it need to be grounded since it's iron? won't the a/v gear get affected?

  • pretty cool, a nice change from the usual ikea style stuff. but yeah, expensive (as would be expected)

  • Very bad headline formating. I read it as $2 and $1 units.

Really? Cast iron for tv unit, I couldn't think of a worse material to use.
Atleast with a wooden tv unit should you ever have an issue you can fix it most problems yourself and should you need an extra hole for cables you can do that too.

For that price you could get a custom built hardwood unit with your exact specifications unless this is exactly what you were after.

Did anyone read the review ??

    • Haha, now that you mention it, what a coincidence, another Kylie. :)

      • Coincidence ???

        • Ah jv, you need a sense of irony. :)

        • Also, the review was posted within minutes of this deal… :O

          cast irony?

nice, can't sockpuppet their ozbargain but they sure can sockpuppet their own reviews

        • +2

Actually the ineptness of Kylie's manipulation is hilarious. You'd think Kylie would have enough brain cells to pick a different name for the "review", but no, she really likes her name too much.

I have to take off my hat to you jv. I just switched off when I saw the $1, I mean $1869.99, price, but you have the persistence to dig up all the dirt.
