I love my v2 x hyper speed mouse. Different to the ones linked so consider this in your purchase decision!

Would never use any other mouse except the Deathadder. The perfect mouse for right handed palm/claw grip users in my opinion.

    • I had this mouse in the past for around two months. Perfect ergonomics for medium to large hands, even better than the Viper ultimate and G-pro superlight. But unfortunately due to defect the cursor started to randomly jump on the screen after two months of usage therefore I had to return it.

  • Iv been using the Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed for about 8-12months now, in bluetooth mode
yet to need to replace the battery.

No issues what so ever, apart from i lost the magnetic battery cover and its not worth the aliexpress price to get another ($20-$30)

    Can Recommend this mouse :)

    • Can you get a mate to 3d print one?

I have this mouse for almost two years now. However it randomly just goes to sleep in the middle of a game. I have to plug out the battery and plug it back in.

Been through all the troubleshooting steps and updated the firmware to latest… still no change.

Thinking whether to buy a new one or just switch to logitech regular mouse (which never gave me this issue)

Same here. Upgraded firmware, went through all the troubleshooting guides. Still sleeps randomly using the razer dongle.

Makes it completely useless and ended up binning it.

I had similar issues with the mouse. It would randomly stop working, stop registering clicks and required pulling the battery out pretty regularly.

It did have a pretty good AA battery life though.

I ended up putting this mouse in the bin where it belongs, and getting a G604 Lightspeed.

Do yourself a favour, and just get a Logitech.

      • That's what killed it for me. Otherwise great, but when it just randomly decides to not work… yeah the fix is quick to pop the cover off and remove and replace the battery, but then it isn't functioning as a mouse. Got rid of mine.

      • Yep another tale of woe. It just loses connection on a micro basis and jerks around using the dongle. Weirdly it works super well in bluetooth mode BUT after a day or so, the whole BT stack gets wiped out on windows and I have to reload the device driver. So weird. But yeah, I really hate this mouse.

      • Where is your USB dongle plugged in?

I had the same issues with dropouts when my dongle was plugged in the USB port of my PC (on the ground). Now I have plugged it into my keyboard. No more dropouts 👍

        • It's plugged in to the monitor. I'll persist and try moving it around.

  • I am looking to upgrade from a wired G502 Hero… I love the bigger size and weight of it. How would the V2 Pro go in comparison?

  • Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed is now $38.95

    • Even better. 👍
