How does this compare to Bissel Crosswave Max/Pro?

    • I’d like to know this too. I bought this one about a year ago and returned it. Left streaks everywhere and was quite heavy too. Still haven’t found a good option for cleaning tiles down stairs besides the good ol mop and spinny thing.

      • LOL same situation with my Bissel Crosswave Max.
I believe these are quite similar.

        • Gawd darnit! Let me know if you find one that just works!!! I don’t think they even exist yet

  • I’ve been thinking about the s5 steam, does anyone know if there’s a difference to the s5 pro at Godfrey’s?

Corded vs cordless. Corded has steam, which means no solution. Cordless requires solution to keep clean. Otherwise, they are mostly the similar

      • Thanks!! Sounds the s5 steam is perfect for me and cheaper too

        • I have the s5 steam. It's great.

Depends how you expect to use it. If you're wanting to use it daily then corded is a bit annoying as is cleaning out the tank after every use (though that is required with cordless also).

If you're going to use it to mop once or twice a week it's super convenient as opposed to manual mopping and does a great job. The steam gives the impression it's really sanitising though I'm no expert on the science behind this.

  • have the s5pro…. It is amazing, keep tiles spic and span

  • Wondering if Bissell or the S5 vs this.

  • This or Dreame H11 for $349? specs wise H11 seems better. Can't make up my mind.

  • Ours broke after 6 months due to system malfunction. Even under warranty Tineco did not fix or replace the machine due to being an older model. They depreciated the amount of time we had used it with what was left on the warranty to give us some money back. Just sharing in case anyone was tossing up between this or another brand.

    • This same model?

      • Yeap! It was a great machine so was a shame it broke and couldn’t be repaired. Been looking for a new machine since and a bit hesitant to get another tineco.

  • I have this and it's great. Takes some a few minutes to clean after use but it's a lot less effort than pushing a mop bucket around. It uses very little water so it's efficient and floors dry quickly. One thing to be careful is make sure water doesn't enter into the suction hole. This can cause the motor to seize and I suspect this is the most common issue users have when theirs develops a fault. Included in the box are water 2 filters and they should be swapped when one gets wet.

  • Was just about to get one but they're oos.

  • Had mine delivered today, does exactly what we wanted - clean tiles and clean up after a baby that’s learning to eat!

  • This has been great! Any cheap alternatives to the solution though?
