Did you get one for each arm? I wonder if anybody here tries to desperately sell one after that deal.

I bought one of these last times around and have worn it almost every day since, brilliant watch for the money. I wish they did one with a green face.

Not to be mistaken with Invicta Bus Driver

      Invicta Bus Driver

      Is that you ?

      • No but they appreciate me when they see me at work. HBU?

Absolute workhorse of a watch, bought this a couple years ago and still going strong.

    • Being a Seiko auto it movement should run for another 15+ years.

      • my previous kinetic lasts for 11 years

  • Anyone know of a design like this similar price but quartz and sapphire crystal?

I have other auto movements already and sometimes just want to grab and go for a short trip. Atm just using Gshock for that purpose.

no deal until i can get 2 for 1 Invicta Joker

    • +1

i unironically do want an invcita joker, and would seriously go halves if it ever went 2 for 1 lmao

  • How's the lume on this piece? comparable to seiko or no?

    • +1

Looked alright in the review videos I briefly flicked through. Spoilt for LUME after sd1970 tho

    • Lume isn't very good, but don't forget it's $85. Not comparable to a Seiko dive watch.

If you want a cheap dive watch with awesome lume get the Steeldive SD1970. Lume Wars.

      • Yeah love the lume on that. It's just a shame for me my wrists are way too skinny to wear anything above 40mm

    • Lume seems to take on crazy significance. In all the time I've been wearing watches, I can't think of a single instance where I thought "FFS I wish this watch had better lume!".

      • +1

On the other hand there ain’t a time where I dont look at the sd1970 and dont think - bloody hell how good is the LUME????
