These have been popular in the past so it may suggest that these are OK third party controllers to use. Apply the $5 off coupon if it is still there to make it $21.99, matching previous pricing from last year. One of the cheapest prices it has been sold at. Deals from last year posted prices of approximately $22. Inflation. Exaggerated RRP of $49.99.

Pretty sure it's a $5 coupon not 5%, so it does match previous prices.

The coupon says $5 for me. So the price is $21.99

    Has nfc?
    Can wake up the switch?
    Better than 8bitdo pro 2?

Makes coffee for you in the morning too, all for just over $20. As to be expected of course.

      • I was disappointed to find mine only made Nescafe

    • +2

      no, yes, no

8bitdo pro 2 is double the price of this

      • Gyro?

Is this the controller you give to your friemd when they come over?

    • +7

No it's the one you use to pilot a plastic cylinder down to the depths of the ocean

I have three of these (not sure if they're the same brand but they look identical)

They've been excellent and yes they can wake the switch up.

    • +1

Does it wake you up before you go go too?

      • +2

No, it just leaves me hanging on like a yo-yo!

I use this while my kids use the standard half size controllers. Works well. 100% win rate on Mario kart

    • Bossing it!

    • Hard CPU?

Watchout some of these had issues where the joystick act as 8 way dpad instead…

    • Yup, I had this exact problem. Ordered a 3x pack a year or so ago from Amazon AU, I ended up giving them all away, as they were useless with how the stick behaved.

Had one of these over a year now. No issues and the battery lasts for ages. USB-C recharge port. Great controller.

    • did you try on PC and confirm that it is indeed an analog joystick instead of "interpolated" 8 way stick?

      • No. I only use on the Switch

I got a question for you guys…..can this wireless controller be used with Xbox 360…if not then if there is a way how can we use it with Xbox 360?????

    • Why not a 360 controller?

      • -1

This one looks a lot cheaper…. Are there any cheap alternatives for wireless Xbox 360 controllers????

        • Secondhand wireless X360 controller should be able to pick one up for $20.

  • Have this, great controller for the price, only issue is that it vibrates non stop when playing n64 games and I can't figure out how to stop it

    Awesome, thanks OP.

  • This, or an 8Bitdo Wireless USB Adapter 2 + PS4 controller?

    • I have 2 of these. good buy. While kids are not on it all day, made it through all school holidays on single charge. Works much better for my youngest (5yo) over the ps4 with the stick layout and big buttons. The 8Bitdo adapter is more versatile though so if you like a PS4 controller may be better choice.

      • Considering the continual reports of the analog sticks actually being 8 way digital inputs, why would you recommend this over the PS4 controller which actually works.

  • Just bought one of these during prime day. Returned it today: noticable lag (not horrific but not fun), and the analog pad had an intermittent drift issue. It's ok to try it (amazon returns are easy) but I wouldn't bother.

  • Got two during prime day and they have worked great. No lag or drift at all.
Much more affordable than the official switch pro controllers.
