Can you provide an example of what would be a good deal here?

Staples is Mitt Romney's major credential for election to the presidency … since he has backflipped on everything he did as a Governor. You don't believe me? Ask him.

    • Interesting- Staples CEO made $15.1 million in 2010 and $8.86 million in 2011, but most of his 33,000 employees are on less than $10 an hour.

      • Well, of course. Staples operate primarily in the US, where minimum wage is less than $10 an hour. I can't imagine OfficeWorks pays much more than minimum wage either.

Staples was one of the few good deals Romney's firm made, the rest were plunder and dump. You can read a polemic here, if it isn't TL;DR for you.

Sorry for getting off-topic. I would still buy from Staples FYI, but they haven't had any good deals since the time they launched in Australia.

Less than $2 each - I buy it at $55 sometimes because it's so dahm rare and normally crazy expensive. One of the BEST Coke varieties in the world.

    • Is this a different recipe (cane sugar instead of corn syrup) kind of thing? Or does it just taste better from a glass bottle for some reason?

      • +1

It's glass so it tastes better. Since it's in a glass bottle it has less preservative and is not as carbonated as other forms since it doesn't need to be. It's also made in New Zealand from Cane Sugar (Coke from Taiwan and many other countries still tastes bad for some reason even if it's cane sugar).

from their site - "staples.com.au is operated by:
Corporate Express Australia Pty Limited Trading As Staples"

So is there much difference between Staples and CX?

They're both putting the little guy (Dunder Mifflin) out of business.
