I was thinking about buying a travel french press by Bodum and come across Bodum products listed on GraysOnline at very good price. The travel french press/mug I was looking at on eBay and other Australian websites would cost at least $45, you can get one on GraysOnline for $30 including postage.

If you are looking for a travel coffee maker, you should check out an aeropress. Makes much better coffee than a french press, is light and pretty much unbreakable.

I agree about a hand grinder, but I use my hand ground with an aeropress. Very portable and great coffee too. I know you can do the same with the pour over but I think I personally prefer aero.

The ones on Gray's come with an extra lid and are 450mL. The ones at Peter's are 350mL. Also not everyone lives in Sydney…

Just want to report back that, they are still good. I bought a set of home theatre speakers from them 4 years ago and was impressed with their prompt communication and delivery. I ordered a few Bodum products on Monday evening. While it's not the fastest shipping, I just received the package this afternoon. Products as described, good quality, no hassle.
yeah, I ordered Monday evening and took delivery today. Can't complain about that.
ok, that was a bit premature. When I said "took delivery today" that assumed that when the tracking on Australia Post's website said "delivered" that it really meant that they delivered it to the office today while I was away. Just took a trip to the office and nothing, not even a card in the post box.
Now I have to wait till Monday to contact them and see where the hell they delivered it to!
