  • Great that it has a bigger screen.

  • For trade in If not return my phone what is going on?
are they still only charged 55 bucks?

    • read the t&c

      • even t&c like that they never charged return price b4
that's why asking…. still same or not

  • +2

Same as the official Samsung website, but they have additional codes for more savings.

Or just live in the US, they get $900 trade in credit.

  • +3

Two grands.. no wonder inflation is up and up

    • +2

Actually.. since it's the same price as last year it had no inflation

  • Disappointing launch. Apart from the hinge and better processor and external screen on the flip 5. Everything else is a fizzle.

  • I really want the fold for the screen size but i wonder if its going to look wierd in public

    • +1

You dont need to unfold it all the time.

    • The front is same as last gen. I used last gen and really find it odd for my usage. i was keen to get it this time if front screen was slightly wide but i would classify the new gen as no change at least for your daily usage. Dissapointing.

    • The cover screen is tall, narrow and the aspect ratio is weird as well for all the apps. It feels more like a smartphone remote.

      • Yea, tall and narrow (plus thick) feels weird. Maybe, fold 9 will be extremely thin then it will be appealing

        • With the relatively smaller changes with each iteration, i think you are probably right. 😉

  • Looks like the Optus hack is back!!

  • +1

I got the Fold 4 and this Fold 5 is disappointing, the crease is still there, same camera setup, the only thing they update is the processor and no gap hinge when closed.

    • There must have been so many meetings at Samsung to decide what features to hold back this year than to solve the hinge problem!
