Good deal, the Bosch blue 6 year warranty on tools AND batteries is a big plus.
I bought this kit in the Bunnings deal last year and use them for work. I had a problem with bits getting stuck in the impact driver so I took it back to Bunnings and they sent it off to get fixed and it’s been fine since then. Also the impact driver doesn’t have a speed select button, only a variable speed trigger which can be tricky to press lightly if you need a slow speed. The drill is awesome and has kickback protection which has saved me a few times. Grinder is good, the mechanism for changing blades is super easy. Batteries are still going strong.
I honestly cannot think of an impact driver I have owned where the speed isn't controlled by the trigger. I am curious now can you link one where it doesnt? Would you say its a better design?
Yeah I have used the one below before. It’s much better for jobs needing lower speed/torque. It still has variable speed trigger as well though.

Both makita and hikoki impacts have multiple modes which vary speed and torque.
Also original Metabo impact driver has a dial + trigger speed and torque controls .
Batteries are still going strong
They use Samsung 18650 cells (I don't know about the green line) and the Samsung 21700 cells on the Pro Core batteries so you can't have better quality than this one.
Different drill and impact driver. And that was varying prices around stores. Their website said there was one kit left at my local Bunnings for $250 so I bought it but then they rang me and said they didn’t have it. And then I had to wait a week for a refund lol
